This is a good, basic dong for anyone looking for penetration from a larger, girthier penis. Whether you are male, female, straight, gay, lesbian, whatever your sexual persuasion, you may have a use for this dong. This dong is usable with an O-Ring style harness.

The Basix Rubber Works dong from Pipedream is made of phthalate-free, latex-free, American-made rubber. It's safe to use, but it's pretty smelly. Rubber is just a smelly material. After washing it and letting it air a while, the scent became less potent, but it still exists after a couple days out in the open. It has been temporarily retired to a ziploc bag, so we'll see if it smells better or worse the next time it comes out to play.

The design is pretty much a standard penis design, a little longer and girthier than "average." (I wouldn't recommend this as a beginner dong. I actually purchased it with the intent of using it to display "boy toys" for other reviews.) From base to tip, it measures 8" with an insertable length of 7", a 5" circumference, and 1.5" diameter. O-Ring harness compatible, this 11 ounce dong has a veined texture and lifelike Caucasian color.

As far as firmness is concerned, it isn't rigid, but is sturdy enough to do the trick. The bottom is curved in to the point that it sticks to the bottom of the tub without issue, and actually seals pretty well making riding it in the water possible if not ridden vigorously. I didn't test to see if it would stick and stay on the wall of the tub as it seems the weight of the penis would pull it off the wall.

Where reality in appearance is concerned, it looks like the model's penis was wrapped in plastic wrap before the cast was made; some of the "veins" look more like "plastic wrap wrinkles." The corona isn't well-defined like the actual penis I deal with regularly: it looks like plastic wrap prevented clarity here as well. I'm not sure what the testicles look like, but they don't look like real ones. The testicles don't feel like real testicles, either. Also, the dong is only one solid color; no variations. However, the Caucasian color matches my legs, so that's pretty accurate.

It's not discreet by any means, but it could be traveled with. I would definitely bag or double-bag it to make sure there isn't any scent transfer.

This could definitely be more rigid for someone who prefers a really hard penis for thrusting. Otherwise, it functions rather nicely. It doesn't have a suction cup, but it us concave on the bottom side and sticks to the bottom of the tub. It is O-ring compatible, but I don't have a harness to test it with.

This is a rubber dong, so it can be used with any lube you feel comfortable with. I wouldn't use oil-based, though, as rubber is slightly porous and oil could be very difficult to clean. Wash this dong with soap and water or your favorite toy cleaner. I recommend storing it in a plastic bag to prevent scent transfer between toys or, if you are putting it in your suitcase, scent transfer to your clothes.

The packaging is a simple plastic clamshell package. It should snap back shut, but it is really too bulky to use. The plastic also cracks easily, so just chunk the container and store the dong in a ziploc bag. The packaging may or may not be recyclable in your area. I didn't notice a recycling code on it, though.
