Glass G-spot shaft discontinued
by Phallix

The Milky Way, or, A Toy Fit For Carl Sagan.

If you're looking for a lot of leverage to make your Way a little Milkier, or you like to get some dual stimulation to rock you to the stars, Phallix' angled S-curve Galaxy Marble is a wonderful choice. With dichroic starry patterns to gaze into before rocking your way to firm borosilicate glass ecstasy, and a slender design to help with precision stimulation, I've found a lot of joy in the Galaxy.

Angly S-curve for lots of leverage or dual stimulation, beautiful dichroic head, high quality.
Cons
Angles aren't as precise as pictured; handblown glass pieces vary.

MOTIVATION
"If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe"---and somehow this statement of Sagan's has always made my stomach flutter. When I saw Phallix' Galaxy Marble, an angled S-curved glass dildo with a dichroic galaxy blown into the head, I mentally completed the phrase "and if you wish to fully understand your vadge, you must first insert a galaxy."

Maybe I'm a nerd, but astronomy turns me on, and even for those who aren't nerds, stargazing holds a romantic appeal. They knew what they were doing when they named it the Milky Way. (Okay, okay, the Milky Way was actually named from some mythological lactation, not from mythological cum, but I can pretend, right?)

Aside from all this, the Galaxy Marble is a beautiful piece of art. Its clear shaft with two elbow curves support the beautiful head---mine is politely tapered, and the base of the head is colored (inside the glass) a deep blue. This cobalt backdrop provides contrast when you look down from the tip of the dildo---where dichroic designs have been swirled into the likeness of a galaxy by vaporizing metal or oxides and letting them condense into a crystal structure before sealing them in glass. The thin film of metal and metal oxides catches some wavelengths of light and reflects others, creating a dazzling sparkle that changes with your viewing angle.

(With droplets of water.)

And that's pretty enough to send your imagination flying, whether or not you're an astronomy nut, right?

CONSTRUCTION
The Galaxy Marble is not designed like your typical dildo. Instead, it has a head held onto a handle with two extreme elbow bends (though the intensity of the angle may vary from handblown piece to handblown piece). These elbow bends in the ~1" diameter shaft form an S-shape, which makes the Galaxy Marble ideal for two things---intense leverage, or dual stimulation. I like both aspects of the Galaxy Marble (although you can only do one at a time, switching back and forth is very nice). I really love the way the ridge at the base of the head rubs the back wall of my vagina as I'm rocking the shaft up against my clit. Pressing the handle down so that the head launches into my g-spot is a lot of fun as well.

Apart from the unusual angled S shape, the Galaxy Marble is a fairly simple dildo. A head which is about 1.25" in diameter at the base, and a fairly narrow, slightly-less-than-an-inch shaft make this dildo appealing for those who do not want a lot of girth. It still is an appealing choice for people who like a lot of stimulation, though---Phallix' blown in the USA, top quality, easy-to-sanitize (bleach or boil!) borosilicate glass is a great choice for fans of pressure and easy insertions. A glass toy slides into any orifice gracefully, and its unyielding nature means you can go to town (or the moon?) on your g-spot and your body will not be able to stand in your way.

Though the Galaxy Marble's dimensions are small, its angular design might look confusing at first blush. Once you're holding it, though, it makes a lot of sense. The glans is perfect for rubbing your inner walls. The handle means you can press the head down into the PS Spot while the straight length is in your vagina and the ramping middle length is grinding against your clit. Alternately, pulling down on the handle rockets the glans right to the g-spot. I had expected to enjoy turning the dildo, too, but vaginally that was just too discrete a sensation for me to enjoy enough to make a habit of it. Rotating it anally turned out to be extremely pleasurable, though, because of the gentle undulations in position.

FINAL THOUGHTS
On the whole, I would not recommend this as a first glass dildo, because how exciting it will be to use depends a little bit on how well you know your body. I would start with a gently curved or straight dildo, and then if you find yourself craving extra leverage, upgrade to the Galaxy Marble as a special occasion leverage toy.

For those who like S-shapes for their dual stimulation abilities (that is, women whose clits are close to their vaginal openings), the Galaxy Marble is a can't-fail dildo. Its firmness and beauty and snug angles can just rock you to the stars.

I also think the Galaxy Marble will work excellently for those who want to work their anal play up from finger level. Because the just-under-an-inch diameter shaft is nicely rounded on the non-galaxy end, and because the drastic curve prevents you from inserting it deeper than you intend to, the tip of this makes a good (if short) gentle probe. The galaxy end does very well for anal entry as well as a second step up.
