The Junior is a good toy for solo or couple play. His soft but stiff texture is sure to not let you down. Of course, he does not have the fleshy feel that some of the other realistic toys have, but he does not lack in the satisfaction department. He is a really good toy for G-spot stimulation, and he is certainly big enough to reach that most desired area.

The Jelly Royales Dong Junior is made of poly vinyl chloride jelly. It is a porous toy, so proper care is definitely recommended. The toy has a strong rubber smell to it which I hope goes away in time. For jelly, it is very stiff, and it is not squishy by no means, but it is still soft textured. Much like a real penis, it is ribbed and veined and has a prominent head. It is somewhat flexible, and it does move with you, but it does not bend unless you apply force. I recommend keeping this toy very clean because the material does attract small hairs and lint. Proper lubrication is recommended because, when this toy gets wet and then dries, it becomes sticky and that can definitely cause some unwanted friction.

As mentioned in the title of the review, this toy is a "not so junior, junior". Measuring at 6 inches and 1 5/8 inches wide, it is, in my opinion, hardly a "beginner" toy. The girth and length are definitely meant for a more experienced user. This will vary with different users, of course. I am somewhat small "down there", so the size may be a bit more overwhelming for me, but it may not be to others. However, it definitely requires a good lubricant. After being properly lubricated, the size is satisfying. It is not discreet at all. Traveling with it may be a bit difficult unless you have a bag or case to keep it in - especially if you are wanting to keep this big boy private.

The best thing about the Junior is the semi-realistic feel. With proper lubrication, it can offer some satisfying experiences. The worst thing about it is the suction cup. It is not big enough and deep enough to hold the toy in place, and in my opinion, it can actually be very dangerous in the shower. It slips far too much. I had to keep moving it back up after every move I made. I tried drying the shower wall and repositioning it, but it will not stick if there is no moisture. It pops off with the slightest bit of force. This toy may be better in a harness.

This toy is Jelly. It is porous, so it does need to be taken care of differently than non-porous toys. This toy is specifically meant to be cleaned with warm water (not hot or boiling) or toy cleaner only. Abrasive soaps or detergents can break the material down, and it will eventually lose its shine and softness. Which means the dishwasher is a no-no. Since this toy can't be "properly" sterilized, it is best to not share it. If you must, I would definitely recommend using a condom. Water-based or silicone-based lubrication is recommended.

The packaging is, to say the least, disappointing. There are no given instructions for proper care or even how to use the product. (Not like we need it, but some proper usage tips would be nice.) The package is definitely not convenient to store the toy in, and it is not the most sterile environment either. The moment I opened it up, I cleaned it first thing. I expected a little more in this department since most toys I have, have come with some type of box or container that you can easily store them in.

When I received this, I was really anxious to use it. It looks great, but I will admit, I was a bit overwhelmed. Being a beginner with larger toys, the size was a bit much for me at first. After being properly lubricated, I warmed up to it a lot. It has a very realistic feel to it. I used it solo for the first time. After warming myself up a bit with my little Nova, I slowly started with the penetration. It is also handy for clitoral stimulation. I have to say that I was very satisfied with the end result. It works well for G-spot stimulation as well. I also tried it in the shower. Unfortunately, the suction cup is a no go. I tried many ways to get it to stick to the shower, and I had absolutely no luck which was very disappointing. I tried other surfaces, and it does stick but not enough to take any kind of pressure. You can barely move it, and it will pop off almost instantly. I can honestly only recommend this toy for assisted use. It is most definitely not a hands-free type. The suction cup is far too small.
