Wicked hero realistic dildo - realistic dildo with suction cup by Erokay - review by miraclethaw

I have very strong, contradictory feelings about this toy. As far as dildos go, it has all the standard features that make it a run-of-the-mill option of moderate price, but it stands out in terms of size. This is not a beginner's toy, and may not be suitable for anal use, but it is incredibly filling and has a comfortable rounded shape. The head is not too sharp or too flared. It also stands out in terms of texture; the ridged or 'veined' ribbing along the shaft is amazing and stimulating. But there's one very serious issue that might make this toy unusable.

Now, for the best and worst parts of the dildo: the material. On the one hand, these textures are AMAZING. Ridges, ridges, ridges! Ribbed stimulation for DAYS. The swollen 'veins' are very firm and maintain their shape even when squeezed, but they are small enough and placed with the exact right amount of space between them to create thrilling sensations without being overwhelming, like some other heavily-ridged styles out there. The material has a 'skin-like' feel, but that's mainly due to very very small lines carved all over the shaft, which could make sterilizing more difficult but don't interfere with my own personal cleaning methods. This may be the best-feeling dildo in terms of internal textured stimulation, especially during thrusting or in/out movement, that I've ever used!







On the other hand, it came out of the box with an EXTREMELY strong foul smell, an odor that was all-too-familiar from the olden days of 'novelty' sex toys... phthalates. While this dildo claims to be phthalate-free, I have to trust my own nose and my own experience with the mild burning sensation of undesirable chemicals rubbing against sensitive skin. Even after 3 very thorough washings, scrubbing the material with soap and hot water, the smell still comes off this dildo in waves and even rubs off on my skin when I handle it, and the material stings my most delicate skin a little-- even stings my tongue! This issue might not be due to phthalates specifically, but there is SOME chemical in this material that is deeply unpleasant in both smell and touch, and because of that, I do NOT trust the manufacturer's claims. As you can see from the pictures in the Packaging section below, this toy is made in China and "sold as novelty only," and I'm somewhat skeptical of the names given to this dildo and the other matching one I got from the same brand. (Wtf is a "scarf boy"?!)

The good news is that the smell does not seem to be INCREASING, which was usually the case with unsafe phthalate materials back in the day, so the chemical aspects of this PVC-based dildo might eventually dissipate over time. Meanwhile, the ridges are SO GOOD that I'm going to keep using it anyway, as long as I make sure to thoroughly wash it BEFORE each use to help dampen the chemical odor and sting.

It can be difficult to find a toy large enough to satisfy me; often the sizes listed on a website will be inaccurate, or the shape of the toy itself will change how filling it feels, but the Wicked Hero "Sturdy Man" measures up! As shown in the pictures, the listed measurements for this dildo are slightly off (as usual), but it's still a very thick and satisfying size, with a great shape (rounded girth without any odd protrusions) and a lot of density and weight. The flared head adds a nice ridge but thankfully isn't the thickest/widest part of the whole toy.







The balls aren't flexible at all, so they don't add much 'slapping' sensation, but they do provide a firm, wide base safe for anal use and also make straddling/sitting on the dildo more pleasant, especially against hard surfaces like the side of a tub. Because of the realistic design and coloring, this toy is obviously not even remotely discreet-- it definitely looks like some genitalia sitting on your nightstand. The added weight of the balls causes the dildo to overbalance when left sitting upright, so if you plan to use this toy with others and switch them out, make sure you have something clean to rest it against if you don't want it to topple over and get dirty mid-play.



In addition to being very thick and well-shaped, the shaft is nice and sturdy (like the name) but still has enough flex to feel comfortable inside the body. This is a dildo that will stretch and rub you in the right places, but will bend with you so that it doesn't painfully jab into the wrong ones.

The suction cup on the bottom for hands-free play is adequate; it sticks firmly to ideal surfaces like the smooth sides of a standard porcelain tub or non-porous counter tops with a smooth finish, but is not strong enough to hold on other surfaces like some of the best suction cups out there will do. As you can see in the below image, the dildo remains suctioned to an upright surface that is smooth and hard, but notice how much it hangs down at the tip due to the heaviness of the dense shaft.



This dildo might fit into some harnesses, but you will have a hell of a time squeezing and folding the suction cup to fit through an O-ring type harness small enough to hold a dildo this heavy in place. Again, this toy has a lot of weight to it, which is great for my purposes (mostly straddling and manually thrusting) but might make use with a harness uncomfortable.

The skin-like texture kind of absorbs lube, so make sure to have a lot of lube available for reapplication during use. Because of the chemical aspects of the material, I highly recommend using ONLY water-based lubricants; you never know what kind of chemical reaction you might get otherwise.

As mentioned, the texture of the material adds some porousness that will make sterilizing difficult, and I have not attempted to boil this dildo or run it through the dishwater, so I can't confirm if those are safe cleaning methods. I clean my toys with soap and warm water, or sometimes use wipes if I trust the material, but I would not recommend wipes with a dildo of this material. Again, REGULAR cleaning of this toy is NECESSARY to reduce the chemical odor and slight stinging sensation.

Make sure that you do NOT store this dildo with any other toys, because if different toy materials come into contact for long periods of time, there can be a chemical reaction that damages and deforms one or both of the toys. Definitely do not put this dildo next to any toys made of silicone, and don't keep it in a bag or case that is also made from PVC. Nylon or rayon may also have a reaction with a dildo like this. Cotton is always your best bet for a bag, or you could use a wooden or cardboard box. Use plastic at your own risk-- who knows what kind of chemical reaction could come from different types of plastics.
