The Black Magic Traditional Vibrator is a simple but effective toy. It is a traditional vibrator meant for vaginal use, but works wonderfully for clitoral stimulation as well. With a completely waterproof battery compartment, it is a great shower companion. Since its noise level is relatively low, it is excellent for use when you need a little discretion.

The Black Magic Traditional Vibrator is made of non-porous black plastic that rates an 8 on Eden's safety scale. It is latex- and phthalates-free, and is hypoallergenic. The vibe has a velvet touch coating that is quite nice, giving the vibe a less plastic-like feel that still glides smoothly across the skin. This product has no smell or taste.

The design is that of any basic traditional vibrator. It is 7" long with an insertable length of 6" and a diameter of 1". It's by no means big, and a great size for beginners such as myself. It is a basic cylinder shape with a rounded end for ease of insertion. With the majority of the vibrations located in the tip of the toy, it also works great for pinpoint clitoral stimulation. Because there is no flared base, this product should not be used for anal insertion. The batteries are inserted into a handy removable sleeve that can be placed into the battery compartment in either direction and still function just as well. While the vibrations are not incredibly powerful, they are deep and pleasant. This vibe isn't too loud. On its lowest setting it can't be heard through the covers, while on its highest speed it can be heard through the covers quite easily, though not through a closed door. The dial control isn't all that hard to work, though it generally requires both hands, one to hold the vibe still, the other to twist the dial. The waterproof O-ring provides complete protection from moisture. I have washed my Black Magic under running water and taken it many times into the shower and found no hint of water in the battery compartment.

Probably the best feature of this vibrator is the easy cleanup. Simply wash it with mild antibacterial soap and warm water or with your favorite toy cleaner. Do not bleach or boil this product or run it through a dishwasher. As this toy is plastic, it can be used with water-, oil-, and silicone-based lubricants. All plastics should be kept out of direct sunlight for long periods of time to prevent photodegradation.

The Black Magic came in a black and purple plastic package that left little to the imagination. The box is a very brittle plastic and isn't the best idea for storage. Mine had damage on one corner when it arrived, which I'm pretty sure is the result of rough handling by postage personnel.

I personally love this vibe, even if the vibrations are a little weak. It's not too loud, so it won't alert my roommates. It's a lot of fun to sneak into the shower, and nobody is any the wiser. The velvet touch coating is really nice, the size is anything but intimidating, the length is perfect. I pair it with my Birthstones bullet vibe by Evolved Novelties and it's wonderful.
