Apollo, Fly me to the Moon!

Apollo is a rocket that will take you in direction to the moon, but drop you off halfway. She's not much of a vaginal stimulator, but rub her against your clit and you'll find yourself floating amongst the stars.

Evolved's Bottle Rocket Apollo, in a way, lives by her name. NASA's Apollo missions to the moon were fast and efficient - just as this little rocket is.

The miniature Bottle Rocket arrived inside of a... well... bottle. It even has a real bottle-cap on the tip. It's rather cute and great storage! There are no paper instructions with this baby, rather, the instructions are printed on the outside of the bottle. It's easy to read, but the letters can be easily scratched off - so if you're anal about keeping your casings mint, then be careful.

My first mistake when I tried to get Apollo out of the bottle was to try and remove the bottle cap. Do not do this - the cap is not supposed to be removed. Instead, the bottom of the bottle twists open to reveal the present inside. Bottle Rocket Apollo is comparative in size to LELO's Mia, measuring 4 and a ½ inches in length, with 3 and a 4th insertable length, and looks just as expensive.

Apollo is Phthalate-free and made of body safe ABS. She has a smooth coating that feels like a soft velvet, or even silk. Her base is a simple, yet beautifully designed plastic with the logo neatly printed in silver along the side (at least it's Silver on the black Apollo). Apollo requires 1 AA battery to work. Both rechargeable and throw-out batteries work, and neither hinder the power of this little demon.

Before I used Apollo, I wasn't expecting her to pack as much power as my Mia... and I was right. But not by much. Bottle Rocket Apollo has strong vibrations, very close to Mia; even with it's one speed, but the velvety coating absorbed some of the power. Apollo made the same amount of sound as Mia, except the hum is lower in pitch, so she's less likely to be heard through a closed door.

Apollo's round yet pointed tip was great for clitoral stimulation. She channeled those vibrations and gave me those frosty tingles of goodness. Up-down motions worked best with her.

After using her on my clit, I slid her inside me and thrust a bit. I was quite disappointed with how she felt inside. Her vibrations, which were strong enough for clitoral stimulation, was nothing more than a weak buzz when inserted. Perhaps I expected too much considering Apollo is the first internal stimulator I've ever had but still... I was expecting to at least feel some pleasure! Instead I got nothing. And she's too short to really satisfy me with continual thrusting... so I resumed to pleasing my clitoris.

The good point to the first session was that she gave me a fairly quick orgasm. The next time I used her, I decided to test out her waterproof abilities in the shower. Before turning her on, I purposely shoved her beneath the spray of water, soaking her.

Then I pressed the power button, almost fearing she wouldn't work, and was pleasantly surprised when she buzzed. I ended up using her during the entire length of my shower, even while I used soap and shampoo, which covered her in suds. After ten minutes of soap, water and shampoo, Apollo was still vibrating as strongly as she had before the shower.

Apollo cannot be sterilized, so use a condom if you plan on sharing. To clean, just use anti-bacterial soap and warm water, then dry her off. Despite her one drawback of being a terrible vaginal stimulator, she's fantastic for the clits!

I recommend Bottle Rocket Apollo to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to LELO's Mia—or if you're looking for an overall good "clitoral" stimulator.
Follow-up commentary
My love with Apollo has ended.

This little vibrator was great for a couple months, but then it got boring. It doesn't quite bring me to orgasm because the pulsations don't penetrate. I only ever use Apollo when I forget to charge my Mia (by LELO) and have no other clitoral vibrator to use.

Over the time I've had Apollo I've noticed that the vibrations have weakened ... but otherwise there is nothing wrong with it. It still functions well--and is still very cute ... but now collects dust unless there's a vibrator emergency (mentioned above).

Despite my love gone to ... something that doesn't quite reach dislike, I still recommend Apollo to anyone who doesn't require much stimulation to reach orgasm. It's a long lasting vibrator and hopefully your love for this little toy won't dwindle as mine has.
