Beautifully runny

Wet Beautifully Bare is best for vaginal use, during either masturbation or sex with a partner. It has a very thin consistency, so I wouldn't recommend it for anal use. It is not ideal for use in the bath or shower because it washes off easily. Use a silicone-based lube for those situations. Unlike silicone-based lube, you can use it with pretty much any toy material. It is glycerin and paraben free, making it more hypoallergenic than a lot of water-based lubricants on the market.

Some sources say that glyercin can cause yeast infections or UTIs in women prone to them. A few studies link parabens to cancer, but there is no hard evidence at this stage. If you're concerned about either of these ingredients, look for lubricants that do not contain them.

For me, the consistency was disappointingly thin and runny. Since the bottle calls it a "gel", I was expecting it to be thicker. I often gravitate towards lubricants that can be used for anal as well as vaginal use. I would not feel at all comfortable using this for anal penetration. Due to the consistency, I often end up getting lube everywhere. When I put some on the toy it will run down the sides before I am able to get it inside of me. Like most water-based lubes, it gets sticky after a little while, but adding more lube or a little water tends to help. It feels a lot like my natural lubrication, but this isn't something I look for in lubricants because I prefer a thicker consistency.

The lube has no discernible smell. It tastes slightly bitter (probably due to the absence of glycerin), but I didn't find this too unpleasant.

I found the lasting power on par with other water-based lubes I have tried. I'm sure silicone-based lube would be longer lasting, but I find I can get through a masturbation session without having to apply more than a couple of times. It becomes sticky after a few minutes, but adding more lube fixes this. Being water-based, it will wash off with water - you don't need to use soap.

To dispense the lube, you flip up the cap and tip the bottle upside down to pour it out. It's relatively easy to use one handed. I haven't noticed any leaks, even when storing the lube on its side.
