The Compact mini G is a cute yet simple toy that can be used on the clitoris or the nipples, and it is most effective as an external vibe. This toy has no flared base so it cannot be used anally. You can use this toy vaginally but it just has so much drag to the material that I think it does a pretty poor job. Although it says "G", like some toys it just kind of throws that in the name. It has a curved tip but It's not at all pronounced enough to use for any g-spotting! However it is slightly pleasant to feel vaginally, for the rumbly vibrations of this toy make for a nice deep internal sensation. I still don't recommend it for vaginal stimulation still, because the ridges make it kind of difficult to clean fluids off of this toy.

This toy is composed of Polyurethane coated plastic, so it is slightly porous. The PU coating doesn't add much to the texture in my opinion, it adds a lot of drag but it doesn't actually give the vibe a soft or velvety feeling. It probably would have been better if it were simply made from plastic. This toy doesn't attract any dirt or lint, but of course you should still wash it before and after use.

I'm not sure if this happened to anyone else, but when I got this toy out of it's packaging it smelled pretty heavily. It was kind of strong, and it reminded me of the smell of dodgeballs or something of the sort, and due to the pretty obnoxious smell I didn't test what it would taste like. When I washed it the smell disappeared completely, so I think the smell isn't too much of a concern.


This toy is smooth on the top and base, but the middle has vertical ridges on it. While the ridges make for a cute design, they're a bit of a design flaw. They don't really add any special sensation when in use, in fact it simply makes it harder to clean. If you want to try out texture in toys, horizontal ridges are a better choice. Though the ridges of this toy aren't effective texture, the ridges are still texture. It isn't in the way when used externally, but if you really want to use it internally you may notice the texture a little. I think that the texture isn't felt easily during use internally, but some extra sensitive users may possibly be bothered by it. There's also a teeny tiny indent in the tip of this toy, not for pleasure but I think it's just something that occurs in the making of tis toy. It's really small but it's there just as a heads up. Some may not like that too much.

I like the design of this toy a lot! I appreciate that it has 2 different shades of color instead of one solid color. I'm not a fan of the purple version, but I think the pink is adorable. It has a nice, soft shade of light pink, accompanied by hot pink, with some black accents. My camera makes it look boring but it really looks nice to me in person. It's pretty nicely color coordinated. It's also rather small which makes it not only cute but also easy enough to store.

Even though this vibrator is small, I don't think it's very discreet. In my opinion this toy looks like a vibrator. Besides not being discreet in looks, this toy is pretty loud. When it's pressed against something or held firmly the sound becomes muffled, but if you just hold this toy it vibrates rather loudly. It can be heard through a blanket and through a door, but if you have a TV or radio on it covers the noise a bit.

The compact G is also pretty small so it's easy to travel with. Just put it in a suitcase, backpack, or purse and it's good to go. Just remember to take the batteries out so that it doesn't turn on while traveling, it's not extremely easy to press the power button but better safe than sorry. Besides you shouldn't store batteries in your toys anyway, for they can leak acid and break your nice toy.

The Compact mini G is more rumbly than buzzy, which some may find very pleasant. The vibrations are rather deep in feeling and they're spread out through the vibe. The vibrations are mostly located in the head, and it can be used for some pin-point stimulation due to the "G" tip. The material of the compact G has no give at all though, so it can be uncomfortable for some. When I use this toy I find that it vibrates so strongly that the stiffness of the plastic is irritating on my clit. That may just be me though, so experiences may vary.

Something to take note of: This toy has a battery caddy sort of style to it. When inserting this back into the toy you have to insert it the correct way, also the metal strip should align with one of the metal strips in the toy. It's not hard to figure out but I've included pictures of how it looks inserted that might explain better just in case.

The power button of this toy is printed with the words Low, High, and Off on the bottom for unknown reasons. It could possibly make one think it's a turn dial, but this vibe uses a push button operation. The controls are very easy to use. You press the button once to turn it on, and you have to cycle through al the settings to turn it off again. There is no easy off switch, so if you get walked in on a lot then this toy won't help you. This toy has 5 functions: 3 speeds of vibration and 2 patterns of vibration.

1. Low vibration
2. Medium
3. High
4. High pulses
5. 3 escalating pulses (A low pulse, a medium pulse, then a high pulse)

My favorites are the medium, high, and high pulse functions. I don't really have a pattern or vibration I don't like, for the vibrations are all pretty good and strong. Though admittedly I would prefer if the patterns weren't the last two functions. They do feel a bit weak in comparison to other settings if you've been using the High vibration setting for a while. The patterns can also be more of a tease for some, so I think they'd be best to start out with.

This toy can be used vaginally, but I don't think that it's very effective for this. The vibrations are more rumbly than buzzy, so it is pleasant to just feel inside. It's pretty terrible for thrusting in my opinion though. It has a lot of drag to it, and it's also very hard and rigid. There is also the matter of the strange ridges this toy has on it which make it harder to clean. The ridges are a bit deep, so they can hold onto a lot of fluid. If you are absolutely intent on using it internally, I recommend purchasing a cheap toothbrush. When cleaning toys with deep ridges or texturing you can use a tooth brush to get in close to clean any deep mess. No matter how you use it, it's always good to check that there aren't any fluids hiding in the ridges.

As I stated before, the compact g is pretty noisy at times. If you keep a firm hold on it the sound is dampened a little, but it's still a bit loud. Though it's also water-proof, so if you lack privacy you can take it with you into the shower. The battery compartment does have an o-ring to keep water out of the battery compartment, but only if you twist it on properly. Sadly I had a bit of trouble with twisting on the top to the battery compartment. If you twist it on too tightly it can end up making a popping noise, but it's not supposed to do this. This noise indicates that you've twisted it too far and you'll have to twist it on again. If you don't grip it too harshly when twisting the cap on it shouldn't do this, but I get pretty aggressive with twisting on battery compartments. Most of my toys are waterproof, but I don't want to ruin them just because I didn't seal them well enough.

You can use soap and water to clean this vibrator, or toy wipes/cleaner. This toy is slightly porous and cannot be sterilized, and thus it should not be shared without a condom. I wouldn't say this toy is impossible to clean, but it is a bit difficult. This toy has pretty deep ridges on it, so always make sure to clean this toy well. I'd recommend buying a cheap toothbrush to clean the ridges, and yes I mean a new toothbrush. Do not use a friend or relatives' toothbrush, for not only would that be unsanitary but they'd probably hunt you down.

This toy comes in a clamshell-type of packaging with a cardpaper insert. There aren't really any instructions to it, but it doesn't really need any. The packaging isn't very flimsy, but it's not as sturdy as some things I've seen. It's still good for storage if you have no where else to put it. You can use this for a gift, but it's not very elegant so wrapping paper would do wonders. Also the clamshell packaging might give it away, so if you want it to be a total surprise you may need to put it in a box.

I rather like this vibrator, for it is simple but pleasantly powerful. Some advanced users may find it boring for it doesn't have many functions, but I think it has plenty enough to do it's job. I used this toy quite often, the vibrations are surprisingly strong in my opinion. I loved using it if I wanted to have a "quickie", or in combination with a dildo. I did find the hardness of this toy to be kind of annoying, for when I'd use this toy on my clit the material felt like it was bumping me a bit hard. It was bothersome but I still like this toy a lot nonetheless.

I was debating whether or not to give 4 or 5 stars to this toy. I love this toy quite a bit after a lot of sessions using it, but it could be quieter and the ridges are a bit annoying to clean. However I figure there's not much wrong with this toy if you intend to use it as an external vibe. Plus if you use it vaginally anyway its not impossible to clean, so I went on ahead and gave it five stars.
