De Luxe is right!

The Joyballs are a wonderful kegel exercising mechanism. They're small and heavy, making them harder to keep in. These kegel balls also add some discreet stimulation when inserted as well. What's best about them adding stimulation is that they are always very quiet. Easy to use, easy to clean, useful, and quiet. What more could you ask for?

Use

These De Luxe balls are made for women to use to exercise the muscles on the pelvic floor, also known as the kegel muscles. Having strong kegel muscles has plenty of benefits: it prepares pregnant women for the stress she'll have on her pelvic floor during childbirth, helps prevent urinary incontinence, tightens a woman after childbirth, and, best of all - it can help a woman squeeze her man during sex, providing new sensations for both parties!

The Joyballs de Luxe are easy to insert. The package comes with a little sugar-packet-sized lube, and just a drop of that on the balls and they slip in. I also recommend caution when inserting though, as fingernails can pinch if you're not careful. To remove, simple pull down on the cord. I've found this can be a little awkward to do, especially after a longer period of time, because the balls shift inside and tugging on them feels a little weird.

Material / Texture

These kegel balls have it all as far as material goes. As EF says, we've got "Non-porous / Phthalates free / Hypo-allergenic / Food-grade material / Latex free". The package these came in mentions that they are made of surgical grade silicone, and have been tested for use. There are also very official looking seals on the instruction manual, saying that these are doctor and midwife approved.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

These balls are small (smaller than my CyberSilicone Spheres) and heavier, too. This makes them amazing for my kegels, as my old kegel balls were too large, and I had no problem at all keeping them in. The smaller size and heavier weight of these makes keeping them in slightly harder, especially when playing with them by tugging the string, or otherwise stimulating the area.

Performance

One of the best things about kegel balls that I've found, is a subtle vibration that they give off when moving. With these Joyballs, you almost won't notice them when just sitting around, but get up and start walking, and the feeling is amazing! What's great about the vibes these give off is that they're relatively quiet. Even when moving them around in a pocket of in my hand, I can barely hear the noise. Other ben-wa balls I've had give off rather loud sounds, making transport a little more difficult and potentially awkward.

Care and Maintenance

The balls came in a rather simple package, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they came with their own little storage bag. This makes storing them so much easier. With their subtle sounds and the additional bag, travel with these balls is super easy.

To care for the Joyballs, I run the silicone part under warm water and use regular soap. I really like that part of the string is also covered in the same gold silicone, making them a little more versatile, and I think, long-lasting.

Does it say if there is anything in them to add to the weight? I am tempted to get these, I have some glass ones but wouldn't mind something a bit heavier.
