Fire - g-spot vibrator by JoyDivision - review by Airen Wolf

I can't believe that I am about to say this but this toy is one HUGE honkin' vibrator! I am a confirmed size queen but even I was slightly intimidated by this toy. Measuring in at 8 inches in length (6 3/4 insertable) and a whopping 5 1/4 inch circumference, this bad boy is sure to strike fear (or lust) into every heart!

Fire is 100% medical grade silicone with a velvety smooth texture. It is non-porous, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, latex free and perfect for G spotting. It arrives safely cocooned in a plastic fitted sheath that snaps apart and could be used to store the toy if space isn't an issue for you. The sheath arrives in a beautiful silvery metallic cardboard box with the side cut out to showcase the vivid red and yellow vibrator. A pretty comprehensive pamphlet is included as well as a sample of JoyDivision's own brand of water based lube 'Aqua Glide'.

The vibe runs on 2 AA batteries and starts off at a very vigorous vibration. You will definitely feel this baby even on the lowest setting! The vibrations are deep, virtually silent and carried throughout the vibrator shaft evenly. As you slowly turn the dial, the vibes move through quite a large range of increasing vibrations ending at a very respectable clit numbing and hand tingling speed that is slightly higher in pitch but not appreciable noise. This is a very quiet but powerful vibrator. The dial is easy to turn even with lube slick fingers but isn't so loose that it will change speed with accidental bumping during play.

The Fire has a very pronounced g spot curve to its very broad tip. The tip isn't thin and poke-y; it's wide and easily bends. This toy flexes easily from just after the motor (near the middle of the shaft) to the very tip. This allows the user to put any amount of pressure on the g spot (or p spot) that she (he) desires without causing bruising or discomfort. Keep in mind, however, that this is a very long and rather wide toy that could cause cervical discomfort with vigorous thrusting.

You will need lube if you plan to insert this big boy. The surface of the Fire is velvety but has a high amount of drag which could cause some 'morning after' soreness without proper lubrication. Be sure to use only water based lube as silicone will bond to and ruin the beautiful velvety surface of your Fire.

As always this isn't recommended as an anal toy due to its non-flared base but it is great for anal ring stimulation. I find that this sort of stimulation helps me to relax and gets me ready for penetration. You COULD use it for penetration with extreme care and perhaps a partner but I prefer my toys to be as safe as possible.

As a clitoral stimulator this guy is a champ! His vibrations are deep and since they run throughout the shaft of the toy it can stimulate the inner and outer labia as well as nearly to the anal ring by laying the toy on its side! It is amazing for pinpoint stimulation as well so there's something here for every user. This toy works wonders on a penis, scrotum and taint as well.

To clean this toy the site recommends that you can boil and use a dishwasher but the pamphlet with the toy says that it is water resistant not water proof so buyer beware. When I tested the toy in a sink of water I didn't get any leakage no matter how I twisted the dial or how long I submerged the toy. Still it has a motor which could be damaged by the high heat of a dishwasher or submerging in boiling water. My dishwasher is broken at the moment so I can't test that theory but I did pour boiling water over the toy and no damage was visible. You could simply wash your new friend in soap (whatever soap you use on your sensitive genital area) and warm water. In a pinch a spritz of toy cleaner will do the trick.

I was slightly intimidated by this monster and I had recently sworn that I could handle just about anything! Playing with Fire is amazing though, it works as a perfect clitoral stimulator and I was easily able to achieve the first of many orgasms this way. After adding a touch more lube, (the Aqua Glide sample from Joy Division works perfectly with the toy and is more than you'll need for one use, it doesn't cause irritation and washes away cleanly) I started to slowly slide this baby inside. It is VERY filling and provides a lovely stretch. It reaches the g spot ridiculously easily and I was able to apply just the right amount of pressure for my next orgasm! I like hard thrusting and my cervix defies anyone to make it scream "No more!" So handing the Fire to Arch left me screaming and gasping my way to incoherence. I have submerged this toy repeatedly without any leakage in the battery compartment though I haven't tried it actually IN the bathtub it has visited my shower and been perfectly happy.
