Use

The Silver Pleasure Balls from LoveHoney's Fifty Shades of Grey line are a fun addition for anyone who wants to strengthen their pelvic floor muscles and is up for a challenge. Designed to be inserted into the vagina to exercise the PC muscles, these balls do their job! The silver balls are heavier than they look, but with their size, and some practice, they stay in place rather well, even with regular movements throughout the day. They feel fantastic as they move around and keep you aware that they are there, giving the wearer a pleasurable internal pressure that can be very arousing. And not only do they strengthen your muscles, but these balls are fun to play with too. Tugging on the string and pulling them in and out of the vagina creates a whole new playtime experience, either alone or with a partner.

If you are new to pleasure balls and do not regularly practice your Kegels, then these may be intimidating for first time users. But with a little bit of practice, and a lot of vaginal squeezing, anyone can get the hang of wearing them.

It's not recommended to use these anally, as the string holding the balls together is nylon, and not necessarily the easiest thing to clean. If you are determined to use them this way, place the balls in a condom first, therefore preventing contamination to the string.

Material / Texture

The Silver Pleasure Balls are made of smooth, shiny metal and easy to insert, even without lubrication. They have no smell or taste and tend to feel cool to the touch if not held beforehand.

Being made of a smooth metal, these balls are great to use for temperature play. Drop them into a glass of either warm or cool water before you play, and you'll have a whole new experience on your hands. If you're adventurous, have your partner switch back and forth between the temperatures to keep you panting, not knowing what to expect with each touch.

The string holding the balls together appears to be made of thin, woven nylon, which does make it a little more difficult to keep clean. But as far as use is concerned, the string is small enough that it's not bothersome during wear and allows the balls to press against each other and move easily once inside the vagina.

Design / Shape / Size

Designed like most pleasure balls, this set consists of two metal balls held together with a string that goes through the center of both of them, with small knots holding the balls in place. There is a metal tab at the end of the string, which stays outside the vagina. It is rather large and has a small circular hole which a finger can be hooked through. Even though its size makes it seem like it would be uncomfortable, it's not. The tab is lightweight and lays flat in a pair of panties. It doesn't move around, chafing or making your labia sore, but stays in place and is soon forgotten.

The circular design of the balls makes them very easy to insert, and their size helps them stay in place. Even though they are heavy, the larger size of the balls, compared to traditional ben wa balls, assists your PC muscles in keeping them from falling out.

They are large enough to be felt, and they do move slightly when inserted. The movements keep you aware, reminding you to flex your muscles regularly. The movement of the balls is also arousing, and I found myself sometimes shifting in my seat while wearing them, just to get a little thrill. They don't make any noise, so they are discreet enough, as long as you can keep them in, to wear them just about anywhere.

Performance

These work very well. They are heavy and large, and make you focus on engaging your pelvic floor muscles. Not only do these pleasure balls strengthen those muscles, they make you more aware of them and give you better control. More awareness and muscle control mean stronger orgasms.

If you have never done Kegels or worn any type of vaginal balls before, you will probably need to work up to these, at least if you intend to wear them for any length of time. With the large size of the balls, they are not as overwhelming as they first appear, as the size helps the balls stay in place, making them less likely to fall out as sometimes experienced with smaller ben wa balls. And if you have never done Kegels before, these balls will help you learn how and identify the specific muscles to strengthen.

Care and Maintenance

Clean these pleasure balls with antibacterial soap and water or toy cleaner. They can be boiled or soaked in a 10% bleach/water solution. They can be thrown on the top rack of your dishwasher. If you are cleaning them by hand, make sure to soak the string very well, sanitizing it, as it does have small grooves and can easily hold bacteria and/or germs.

Other than washing, these balls do not require much maintenance. They come with their own silk bag to store them in, and can simply be placed in a drawer, box or bag.

These are compatible with water-based, silicone-based and oil-based lubes. If you decide to use lube when inserting them, just use a very small amount, as the metal will become very slippery and it may make insertion even harder.

Personal comments

I have had three children through vaginal delivery. Although I don't typically use any type of balls to strengthen my PC muscles, I do Kegels daily. I had no trouble at all with these balls, even after wearing them for a few hours. Eventually, I could walk around with my muscles relaxed and they still stayed in place. Although they seem overwhelming, if you do any type of regular Kegel exercise, you'll find these to be completely manageable.
