The Jumbo Life Saver is the first toy I've ever owned and I'm glad to say I was pleasantly surprised! She comes in an adorable striped case with snap closures and a "Jumbo Life Saver" label. The vibrator inside is surprisingly large and made of a very, very smooth plastic so she'll glide well to wherever you want without a ton of lube. But be careful- she can get a tad slippery. Her gently tapered tip makes for easy insertion, while the graduated width is non-threatening but still packs a bit of a punch at its widest point. She only has one setting and even though it's a satisfying speed, she's a battery guzzler and can be quite loud when her tip's pressed against something. That being said, my favorite part of Life Saver is the concentrated vibrations at her tip. It's super easy to target at and stimulate your clit, labia, nipples...heck anywhere that could use a concentrated massage. Even if I'm just a beginner now I have a feeling that Life Saver will be a good friend of mine for a long, long time.

Life Saver is made of a hard, odorless plastic in a shiny off-white finish. She's so nice and smooth that just touching her feels nice. Aside from the ridged dial at the bottom she's smooth all over except for a seam near the circumference of the tip. Not like it's a problem; it blends in with the smoothness of the plastic and is totally unnoticeable during use. She can glide somewhat well au naturale; but like any toy needs a bit of lube to truly slide and glide around. With a seam at the tip though this is completely unnoticeable during use. As lovely as that slickly smooth plastic is it can easily become slippery when grasped with lubey fingers. Either way, her non-porous "skin" gives her all the right moves.

She's a long, curvy, vibratin' machine. The body and shape of Life Saver is simple but effective. Her tip is somewhat shaped like a lipstick; a broad, flat face sloping to a soft taper, but rounded out more. This shape makes targeting specific areas and adjusting the amount of coverage easy (like using the small point to target your clit while using the flat taper for your nipples or labia). As you move further from the tip of the vibe you'll notice she gets wider towards the middle of her body. That shape is perfect for a beginner like myself since it eases in nicely. It's a unique but non-threatening sensation to feel her gently thicken as she enters. She's definitely a long one- they don't call her "Jumbo" for nothing. But guess what? Her length can be worked to your advantage by giving you more to hold on to while buzzing externally. Speaking of which, the width of her bottom end is the perfect fit for a grasping hand. Ain't that a doozy?
She comes in the cutest little case; a soft plastic snap-closure pouch covered in multicolored stripes. This is the only part of the toy with an odor but it's soft plastic. Whatcha gonna do? The case does have a big "Jumbo Life Saver" logo on it, which kinda ruins the discreetness of the packaging. Then again, it doesn't say exactly what a Jumbo Life Saver is, either. If you aren't paranoid about people reading the case I think it'd be nice for travel.
I find her to be just the right size and design for us beginners. As for an advanced user or someone looking for a more extravagant toy, Life Saver might not be a good fit. But if you're into simple, cheap, and to the point don't count her out.

I don't know about you, but I'm a sucker for simplicity. Life Saver's not one for options, she only has one setting. You turn the dial to the right, don't turn it to the left otherwise you'll open the battery compartment, and whoomp, there it is. But a turn of the dial activates a little "power house" at her tip. All I have to say is wow! She's got consistent, rumbly vibrations that run deep and stron. Really. Those vibrations gave me my very first orgasm. If that ain't good I don't know what is. Volume-wise, well let's say you're in your bedroom which happens to be next to someone else's, they might hear that whhrrr sound. If they're a few rooms down I doubt it'd be noticeable. You won't be able to hide her silently by shoving her into the sheets. It. Will. Not. Work. I noticed the more I pressed her against something, particularly my lady parts, her tippy-top motor would buzz louder. I wasn't pushing on myself hard or anything, oh, God, no, but it did make her a bit noisier.
Oh, yes. Never ever, ever use her in water. She's not waterproof, as the water can leak through her dial into the battery compartment and that my friend, is bad. Don't do it.

As I said before she's not a fan of the water. I'm aware most toy cleaners are fine on her, but I don't own any of those to begin with. So I usually wet a clean washcloth with hot water, wring it out so it doesn't drip and wipe her down with the warm, moist cloth. I actually repeat this process 2-3 times just to be safe. Her case is so easy to wash it's not even funny. Wipe it down and there you have it. A squeaky clean pouch for your lovely Life Saver.
That pouch is kind of like a life saver for your Life Saver. Yeah, it's a simple soft plastic pouch with only two snap closures. But those clasps stay closed until pried apart again. It's almost impossible for her to spill out- and therefore protect her from dirt, dust and other nasties. As I said, the case is super easy to wipe down and that means a safe and clean environment for your vibrator. It might be a bit hard to hide from there on but I'm almost certain that cute case will make it harder for prying eyes to see it's a sex toy. So hey, at least it's a little easier to keep hidden.
