The first thing I noticed about these was just how silky the texture of the silicone is! All of Eden’s toys I’ve received have had very high-quality silicone, but somehow the texture of these is extra perfect.

Now, I’m going to keep this review short and sweet on account of one thing: It turns out Kegel balls just don’t work for me. But none of the issues I faced with these are in any way the fault of the product. These guys are well built. It turns out my reproductive system isn’t!

I suffer from vaginismus, so one of my long-term goals has been to trudge through the laborious process of trying to get my pelvic floor muscles to learn to do what I want. That’s why I bought these. I had read many accounts of Kegel balls working wonders for women with vaginismus since they can train your body to associate a contact with the vaginal walls with pleasure quickly.

That’s the problem, though… I’m not a woman! Though I was able to get some pleasure from vaginal penetration as a teen (when it didn’t hurt like hell), as it turns out, being on testosterone for a year has changed the way, my body responds to internal stimulation. So having these in doesn’t produce the arousal effect that it does in most, unfortunately.

However, I don’t regret buying these! They were perfect for what I wanted: An affordable yet high-quality set of Kegel balls to do some test runs with. I never felt like the silicone tail would break, and the weight of them is perfect! So if you’re looking for a good beginner set, I absolutely recommend these.

The first time I tried these, I made a critical mistake I’ve made before with other toys: I didn’t dilate enough before trying them. I got too excited and forced them in, which you should NEVER do during vaginismus treatments of any kind, as it can re-train your brain that penetration is painful and undo progress. So if you happen to have similar requirements as me, just be aware these have a circumference slightly larger than 4 inches!

And remember, use plenty of water-based lube with these guys! As with all silicone toys, no silicone-based lube as it can cause damage.
