I Feel Pretty (Oh So Pretty)

There’s something incredibly feminine about the Passion Probe Curvy. It’s soft. It’s got some pretty spectacular curves. It is solid at its core. It’s strong and wild when you ask it to be, but it also has its gentler side. It’s got substance, but also a touch of whimsy. This vibrator has quite a bit to offer and almost nothing to dislike about it.

I very much like vibrators that have the basics covered – strong vibrations, easy to grip base, pleasurable and functional design. The Passion Probe Curvy does all of these very well.

The rubber cote material is similar to silicone in its softness, but the vibrator itself is rock hard. Lubricant adheres to it like a dream and it’s very easy to insert although novices may find it on the larger side of the size spectrum.

I initially inserted the vibrator with the ridges facing up (I was on my back and the ridges pointed at the ceiling). That didn’t feel as good as I thought it should so I turned the vibrator over and pointed the ridges towards the floor.

That did the trick.

There’s a natural curve to the Passion Probe that brings the head to fit up against the g-spot. Pumping the vibrator in and out is delicious stimulation and the ridges add to that, but it’s difficult to separate them out as a unique sensation. The ridges feel much less pronounced than they look. They massaged my vaginal opening, but subtly.

My perception of the vibrator’s size came as a real surprise. Looking at it, I expected it to feel much smaller than it did. It’s certainly not uncomfortably large, but it is filling (in a good way).

The vibrations are adjusted via a knob at the vibrator’s base. Turn the knob slightly and you have a solid, consistent, very noticeable hum. Turn the knob all the way and you have a vibrator that will start jumping around (really – it’s that powerful).

On full power the vibrations were far too much for me. I have never seen vibrations of this strength in a battery-operated toy. Then again, I’ve never tried a vibrator that requires two C batteries.

I’ve had a long-lasting love affair with my Hitachi Magic Wand and I’m ordinarily a big fan of some horsepower in my vibrators. What I’m discovering is that sheer power alone isn’t the key to enjoying a vibrator. Power and design is what matters.

Whereas the Hitachi’s vibrations are diffused throughout the vibrating head, the Passion Probe’s vibrations are centered in one little spot. That means that g-spot stimulation is absolutely awesome. The Passion Probe is terrific for focusing a lot of vibrations in a particular area and this is easily one of the best battery-powered vibrators I’ve ever seen for that sort of stimulation.

The Passion Probe is genuinely waterproof, which made cleaning it easy and convenient. I ran it under warm water and washed it with antibacterial soap. I used a water based jelly lubricant, but the vibrator material is compatible with all lubricants. As this material is porous, remember to use a condom if sharing or alternating between vaginal and anal penetration.
