G-spot vibrator discontinued
by Downunder Toys

I thought Berries were sweet?

If you appreciate texture that will ravage your vagina (or anus), this might be the toy for you. Unfortunately, the nubs on the head of this toy were incredibly painful for me. No amount of lube or foreplay helped this toy feel any better during insertion. However, those nubs feel fantastic whilst being rubbed against my clit. All in all, a body-safe toy that's simply not worth its price tag.

Pros
Silicone, texture is great for clitoral stimulation.
Cons
PAINFUL insertion, controller isn't reliable, bullet isn't removable, buzzy vibes.

Use

This toy claims it is a g-spot vibrator, with a corded bullet inserted in the shaft. I cannot confirm nor deny that it is a g-spot vibrator because I've honestly never been able to use it long enough to tell.

The shape is what intrigued me about this toy, but that shape was also its downfall. Those bumps on the tip are so incredibly painful I wouldn't recommend inserting this toy to anyone but the most fiendish texture lover. This is strictly a clitoral stimulator for me now. You could, theoretically, use it anally because it does have a base. However, I don't see why anyone would want to. It seems likely to rip or damage the delicate skin in that region.

It isn't waterproof, nor is it discreet. It involves two hands, one to hold the toy and the other to hold the controller.

I recommend that if you do try this toy, try it by yourself first. Or at least control how fast/far it is being inserted. I'd hate for your partner to get carried away and tear the skin of your intimate areas.

Material / Texture

Girlberry feels like it's made of soft, yet firm silicone. The bumps feel soft to the touch, however are very firm in use. It is somewhat flexible but not floppy.

This toy, while amusing to look at, is not insertion friendly. Material wise, it is body-friendly (because it's 100% silicone) but those nubs on the end feel like sharp spikes to the vagina. Perhaps, if you KNOW you love intense texture, this will work for you.

This is definitely not beginner-friendly and I'm not completely convinced it's friendly for advanced users either! Honestly, this is one of those toys that makes me wonder if the creators bothered to try it out before selling it.

No amount of lube will make those nubs feel more gentle on the vagina, and my vagina is one of those things I don't want to toughen up, i.e., I don't want a callused vadge.

However, the only possible way this toy can make me come is by rubbing those nubs against my clit. In this way (and this way only), these bumps are phenomenal.

Design / Shape / Size

The bullet came inserted, and by god, there is no way to get that damn* thing out. You can try yanking on the cord but that makes me worried that the wires will break and render the toy useless. I can't figure out a way to get lube up there without risking covering the bullet, inside and out. Plus, my fingers wont fit.

Again, those nubs are thing that destroyed this toy's usability.

As for whether or not the shaft is long enough to irritate my cervix, I honestly cannot tell you because I can't get this toy in further than 1/2 inch or so, then the pain from the nubs is too much to bear. G-spot stimulation? I couldn't tell you for sure.

In the picture you might notice that there is a wavy look to the shaft; almost like it has two slight indentions. In person, the toy still has these, but I'm not too sure why. I don't believe there's any technical reasoning behind it. It feels like the bullet is held in place between these two indentions, but I'm honestly not too sure.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controller for the vibrator is simple enough, a dial that turns 180 degrees. This is the first one I've ever used but I like the idea, for the most part. The dial box also houses the batteries: however, there is no mechanism to keep out water. It's made of hard plastic and feels really cheap to me, like it could break if I handled it too much.

Dial it up towards the top to make the vibrations more intense and dial downwards to slow them down. I found that even when it feels like it's completely dialed up, you can press the dial harder and it'll make the motor speed up even more. Probably not the best idea to keep it on that max setting all the time, but it's good if you need a power boost.

In terms of type of vibration, they're fairly buzzy; not rumbly at all. Unfortunately for me, this is the wrong kind of vibration to get me off. However, the bumps on the tip, when rubbed across my clit, do push me over the edge.

There are no patterns, just the solid vibrations. At the most power, I would call it a 3 vroom, tops. However, when it's at it's power limit, it starts making a loud buzzing that would be heard over covers and probably through the door.

Care and Maintenance

It is pure silicone, one of its only redeeming features. This means it can be sanitized with a bleach solution or under soap and water. Be careful not to get water in the battery compartment or by the bullet. Also, be aware of the cord while cleaning. If you drop some water on it, it could roll down into the battery pack or into the bullet.

Also, be sure to only use a water-based lubricant. I know I poured a gallon or so of lube on here, trying to make it work. It's likely you'll do the same if you try this toy.

The shaft is easy to clean but the bumps involve a little more work. They're very textured around the base of each bump so there's a lot of room for the lube to hide.

The box it came in is excellent for storage. Or you can just leave it in the box with the rest of your toys or in a plastic baggy.

Packaging

The Girlberry came in a simple, clear plastic box with a paper insert. The insert talks a little about the company and a lot about how much you'll love this toy (wrong.) The box has a slight diagonal texture to it. The battery cord came folded and wrapped with a twist tie so everything was neat, no nonsense. I still use the box for storage, although sometimes the silicone will stick to the plastic and make it difficult to pull from the box.

Personal comments

I really wish I could've enjoyed this one because its appearance is freaky, in a cute way. But it just didn't play friendly with my vagina.

Experience

"Okay, this feels pretty nice. Insertion time? Lube. ouch. ouchhhh. Luuuuube. OUCH. OUCH OUCH OUCH. Oh HELL* no." (times 3)

*Sorry if I offend anyone with my language involving the use of this toy.
Follow-up commentary
I used this one only a couple more times for clitoral stimulation but it has definitely fallen to the bottom of my toy drawer. This is kinda a 'misfit' if you will, and the only reason I'm keeping it is so I have that texture when I'm craving something different. I haven't tried to insert again, because I know that it physically is not possible for me. I intend to buy more products from this company, however, because the silicone is high quality and is downright gorgeous! Gotta love that swirly look.

such a shame the texture is so horrible! I was thinking of the Taffy Tickler, but the reviews on that basically stated the same thing- that the nubs felt soft until inserted. Thanks for the review

I ALMOST requested this for my free item last month but went with the Happy Valley Small Twister....now I'm soooo glad I did. I had seen similar reviews on this, but thought...maybe it was just them. Now I know it's just this toy. Sorry you had to endure it!! Thanks for a great review!
