Use

Joni is a vibrator intended for vaginal use, she is not any good for anal use since she has no true base and could slip and go missing. Her tip is where the strongest vibrations are and you can use her for clitoral stimulation also. You can also use her for massage purposes on males and females and for stimulation of your erogenous zones.

Material/Texture



Joni has got some great ripples to her. It was very noticeable to me when I was using her. She has basically 3 layers of ripples and then her metallic band that has raised areas. I couldn’t insert her much past the metal band due to discomfort. She is very firm and rigid. She is made from ABS plastic which has an Eden safety scale of 8. She is non porous and she is phthalates and latex free. Her plastic covering is very velvety and she requires only a small amount of lube due to drag. She doesn’t have any taste or smell to her.

Size/Shape

Joni is 5 ½ inch total length, with 3 ½ inches of her being insertable. The stopping point is basically the metal bands that indicate the cap to the batteries. Her widest diameter is 2 ¼ inches. Her first ripple is 2 inches long and her 2nd one is 1 inch long. She then has ½ inch to the metal bands. She has girth and is very filling. She doesn’t go too deep though and this would be her only draw back. She comes in teal blue and black.



Functions/Performance/Controls



Joni has a button on her back end that turns her on and controls her vibes. It is easy to inadvertently hit the button during play. She has 3 speeds, low, medium and high. Her vibrations are primarily felt in the very tip. She is deep and rumbly, and I wouldn’t call her buzzy at all. She is waterproof with an O ring present. She has a twist style battery compartment and runs on 3 AAA batteries. She isn’t very loud,can’t be heard over the blankets.



Care/Maintenance

Since Joni is made of plastic you can use any type of lube with her, water based, oil, silicone, or hybrid. She cleans up nicely with antibacterial soap and water, Eden wipes, or toy sprays. Because of her motor she shouldn’t be boiled or placed in the dishwasher. She has no special storage requirements.

Packaging

Joni comes in a clear designed box with her placed in plastic sleeve that was made for her. She has some cool graphics on her box.



I would say that she travels well but she is not discrete, TSA will know what she is.

For an inexpensive vibe this one really delivers the rumbles. When you turn Joni on in your hand you can see the vibrations even on the lowest settings. She is quite powerful. I only wish that she were about 2 inches longer. She does well for clitoral stimulation also. She is the only one of the rock star vibes that I have but if the others perform like her I would like to try them too. Since she is plastic you can just throw her in your bag and take her with you when you travel or go away for the evening and she cleans up easily. She may be too girthy for a beginner but I would still suggest her for beginner to experienced users.

I really don't play with her much anymore but she is still a great toy. I only wish that she were longer. She has some great vibrations for the fact that she is battery operated. I am becoming a sex toy snob and I like the rechargeables.
