This is a clitoral stimulator that can be used as an all over massager or for external stimulator for erogenous zones, like nipples or the head of a guys penis. With its very small size and narrow and curved shape, I would not in any way get near a vagina or anus with this toy, as it's design would so very easily be lost in an orifice, causing a very embarrassing trip to the ER.

As long as this is external, there is fun to be found by both men and women in one form or another with this toy.

If the vibes are right for your body, the particular design of this vibe make it a great addition to couples play in missionary or other face-to-face positions.

This toy is PU coated hard plastic, which has a material safety of 7. This toy is phthalate free and can be washed with warm water and soap or toy cleaner, or Eden Wipes.

This material can be used with both water or silicone lubes.

The texture of this toy is very velvety smooth, with a nice drag to it. When I use water-based lube on it this surface holds the lube nicely and it doesn't bead up or drip off. But at the same time this smooth plastic is perfectly rigid; there is no give to the toy what-so-ever.

There is a seam around the edge of this toy, but it are positioned in such a way that it isn't felt in use at all.

As mentioned in another section, but two control buttons are made out of a stiff, brittle hard plastic as well. It is almost like a "clicker" that you use to train a pet with. This brittle feeling is not pleasant ant the buttons are slippery plastic. With the velvety texture of the toy, this is not a very pleasant feel for the buttons when in use.

My Luxe is 4.5 inches long and is shaped just like a Kiwi bird if you took off the beak and legs. The head of this little "bird" is where the clitoral stim is designed to be and it is 3 inches in circumference as well as the neck of the toy. The body of this toy that nestles ergonomically in the palm of your hand while in use, is 5 inches in circumference.

The buttons are made of this weird brittle feeling plastic that feels hard(ish) and slippery. Because of this combination, the buttons are hard to push, they are very slippery with any fingernail (even without any lube on your fingers), and they feel very cheap and I expect them to crack every time I use the toy.

This toy is for external use only be because of its very small size and ergonomic palm-compatible design, this is not wise to be used internally. It would lend itself by this design to be lost internally.

There are two push buttons on the toy. One is specifically the on/off button, and the second is the control button that you just cycle through continuously until you find what you like.

The button placement on the toy was always awkward in use for me, I had to use two hands to change speeds on this. The buttons where two stiff and slippery for me to use one handed.

I found that the toy in general fit in my hand quite nicely, and I was able to use the "nose" portion of the Luxe for pin-point pleasure, and if I rotated it 180 degrees, and used the top of the "head", then I got broad vibrations.

The battery compartment slides off the top and back end of the toy and is easy and straight forward to open There is a diagram in the battery compartment. However, if you don't securely close the "hatch" on the batteries, the compartment will pop open and the batties can fall out during use.

There is no travel function on the toy, but if you pop the toys out of the battery compartment, this would travel nicely and because of it's very modern/futuristic shape it is descreet and could be passed of as a tool for massage.

For me personally, I like this toy from a design stand point, and would love the design if the buttons were rubber or silicone, rather than this obtrusive hard plastic stuff.

While I really don't like the "fit and finish" of the two buttons on this vibe, I do like that one is a dedicated "on/off" switch, while the other cycles through the functions. There is no memory, so you have to cycle through them all to get to your favorite speed, or mode.

When you press the on button the two button controls light up, but the vibe doesn't start up until you also then push the function button.

Pushing the function button cycles through 7 different vibration patterns.

1. mild, buzzy, steady. 2 vrooms 2 bees

2. a little bit stronger, buzzy, steady. 2.5 vrooms 2 bees

3. Strongest steady, buzzier, steady. 3.5 vrooms 2 bees

4. stuttering and escalating patter, buzzy. 3 vrooms, 2 bees

5. Pulses, buzzy. 3 vrooms, 2 bees and makes my wrist and fingers hurt

6. Fast pulses, buzzy. 3 vrooms and 2 bees

7. A stuttering short and vast pattern, buzzy. 3 vrooms and 2 bees

Each time you turn the vibrator off and back on, it starts back at 1.

The main focus of the vibe is the kiwis head and neck, but this toy is so small that you can feel them in the entire device.

The toy runs on 2 AAA batteries and I have used it several times, to try and give it a "fair shake" and it has not been a battery hog. After several long sessions (long because I never got off with this toy), the batteries are still going strong.

I found the placement of the controls to be in an awkward place for the way the toy felt best and the buttons were super slippery even without lube.

This toy is NOT waterproof, and I'd even be careful because of the large battery compartment area, to only wipe it down with antibacterial wipes or wash very carefully with water and soap.

At a cursory glance, this is a discreet toy, but the minute someone picks it up, and gets the motor running, it will be obvious what it is.

I have Eden wipes and I use them with this toy. This toy, because of its hard plastic shell and buttons loves Eden wipes and it's a piece of cake to clean with them.

On the flip-side, because of the large battery compartment door, and the fact that there is no waterproofing, I don't find it to be easy to was in water with soap. I don't even trust it to be splash proof with the hard plastic and no rubber or silicone gaskets on it anywhere.

As to storage, because it's hard plastic, I can toss it in my toy drawer and not worry about it coming into contact with any other toys. And it's small and ergonomic size, it tucks into small nooks between toys that are usually wasted space.

You can use water or silicone lubes on this toy, BUT I'd recommend sticking to water based, since the toy can't handle the dunking required to clean up after silicone. Your mileage may vary on this point.

This toy is so close, but in that "but no cigar" kind of way. The buttons are really irritating to utilize when you're in play and can totally ruin the mood.

If the buttons where rubber or silicone and if the toy was just a wee bit more rumbly rather than buzzy, this would be a 5 star toy. The ergonomic body and option of pin point use or broad use, makes the general design amazing. But the buzz and the buttons on the Luxe are just fatal flaws for me.

This toy has been the most frustrating toy I've had, because it is so close to being perfect and falling short.

-If it were rumbly instead of buzzy, the strength would be fine (it's actually about at 3.5)
-If the buttons were silicone or rubber instead of that horrible plastic
(I don't need water proof)

This toy would be a dream with those two tweeks. The shape and overal design is amazing.

I have spent hours with this toy, being so so close and no matter what function or level of my arousal, it just won't take me over the top.
