Petit Ami - discreet vibrator by Cal Exotics - review by curious character

The Petit Ami (a clitoral vibrator) stimulates just that-the clit! Having said that, it is not something that I would use to orgasm with, because the vibrations are very light. It's a gentle tease to use the Petit Ami, and an accessory that I find erotic to use prior to sex or oral sex with my partner. Its light caresses are mildly tickling, but is also stimulating enough to use as a preface to insertion of another toy without needing extra lube.

The smooth texture is ideal for clitoral stimulation, and would be ideal for either beginners or advanced users. When I opened the box there was no pungent smell, unlike other toys I have received. A positive aspect about the accessory is that because it is so smooth and non-porous, it is easily cleaned.

I was confused with the design. I was not sure which part was supposed to be most stimulating, or which end I was supposed to use. After some experimenting though I found that both the thin edges as well as the flat tongue-like shape could be equally stimulating. The smooth plastic was cool and felt great. Another aspect I enjoy is that it is super small and discrete, so it fits in a pants pocket or purse without looking conspicuous.

I'd recommend this toy for anybody-beginner or advanced. Since it's not a toy that I would insert, the size is not an issue as far as penetration.

There is one button and since the toy is smaller than my hand, I can easily press it on/off. It's not a very strong vibration, as I mentioned before, but because of this I have been able to use the same AAA battery since I received the Petit Ami without needing to change it; it simply does not use a lot of power. (I've used it probably a total of perhaps a couple of hours since I have had it, not all at once.) There are positives and negatives to the fact that the performance of the toy is not over-the-top. It would be difficult to orgasm from the Petit Ami, but concurrently it allows for gentle teasing and fun foreplay.

I store my Petit Ami in a little cloth sack that I have, and put it in the drawer beside my bed. It's easy to clean, and because it is a smooth plastic, bacteria do not have a great habitat to thrive on. I clean it directly after use with anti-bacterial soap and water after I take the battery out. Since I don't use many toys with AAA batteries, I take the battery out of the toy between uses to prolong its life so that I do not have to purchase more for one tiny toy.

I don't use lubrication with this toy, but if I did I would simply use Astroglide as that is my go-to water-based lube.

The toy was packaged in a plastic box with clear instructions to not immerse it in water. I'm glad it said that-it's easy to forget which toys are waterproof and which ones are not.
