Flirtation garter chemise - chemise discontinued by DreamGirl - review by Leather & Lace

I was looking for a new lingerie set and came across this chemise, and fell in love with it. I decided to order it and see if I liked it any better than the first lingerie I've purchased from this website. Before ordering, I browsed through some of the other reviews. Based on what I read, I decided to order an XL. I don't like my lingerie skin tight, because I am plus size and do not want every bulge and curve to be shown off. I like my lingerie to have a bit of give in certain areas, and to be comfortable. So based on that, I decided to order the XL. I usually wear a size Large in tops, but wanted to make sure my breasts fit. Sometimes when I order a smaller size, my breasts, which are full, do not fit in the cups.

Breasts: 38 D

I received my package quickly. When I got it in the mail, it was in a plastic over bag hanging on a hanger. I was happy that it came with a hanger so that I could keep the chemise neat in my closet.

As you can see, the color is a gorgeous teal. Sorry about the bright pink bed! I absolutely adore
the ruffles, the color, and the cut of the chemise. There are three rows of ruffles on the bottom of the chemise, and the front of the chemise looks like satin. The back is sheer, and it looks like a bra backing. Their are little tiny bows on the back of the bra. This is one of the cutest lingerie pieces I've seen!

The thong is pretty simple. It's soft, and it looks like any other thong out there.

After seeing both of them, I just had to try them on!

The Thong:

It was comfortable, but I just don't like thongs in the first place. I don't usually wear them, and I just give them away to friends of my same size. I gave these to my sister. I don't like how thongs look on me. Nothing was wrong with the thong -- as I said, it was very comfortable. Thongs aren't just my thing. The thong was true to size, and it did fit.

The Chemise:

This chemise is absolutely gorgeous and was a dream to wear! It is so extremely comfortable. The fabric is very soft, and the underwire does not dig into my skin at all. I am glad I ordered an XL, as my D cup breasts fit in them perfectly. It also was a little looser everywhere else, so I thought it gave me some give to help cover up my flaws. I felt extremely sexy in this piece, and I thought it made me look thinner. It also complimented my curves well. I feel this chemise is true to size, as I usually wear a size L to XL in tops. I feel that a plus size person could wear a size L to XL, as the material has some give.





My belly button shows, and my tummy isn't flat, sorry.

I wore this for my man, and he loved it. He said it reminded him of a saloon girl's outfit. Now he always says, "Go get the saloon girl outfit!" I have no clue why he thinks it looks like something a saloon girl would have worn. I liked how comfortable it was. It was smooth against our skin, and my breasts stayed in place in the cups. My man also liked the easy access provided by the snap bra backing of this piece. It made me feel sexy and very feminine, and will be a chemise I wear regularly!
