Flirtation garter chemise - chemise discontinued by DreamGirl - review by Bullfanch

This is currently one of my favorite pieces of lingerie, but not the thong. Like all of the one-size thongs that come with lingerie, I tossed it.

The waist of the thong, un-stretched, is 13 inches across. It stretches, but it will bite into your skin.

I have my own pair of turquoise panties that actually perfectly match the chemise, so I wear those when I bother wearing panties with this.

My preference is to utilize the garters with a pair of dark thigh highs. The garters themselves are detachable from the chemise, so I removed them for washing so the plastic would (hopefully) last longer. They hook onto the bottom of the chemise snugly with metal hooks. The garters are easy enough to remove, but not so easy that they budge during play. The garters always stayed firmly attached both to the chemise and to the thigh highs until I wanted to detach them.The garters adjust from 5 inches at their shortest to 7.5 inches at their longest. They definitely have some stretch.


Hopefully you can see what's going on in that picture, but the garters are at the shorter end of their length. I've worn this comfortably with the garters further down so my stockings weren't so high up my thighs.

The front of the chemise is solid blue fabric while the back is transparent blue mesh. Unfortunately, the mesh shows sweat stains pretty easily. The bottom of the chemise, front and back, is ruffled and accentuates the hips and ass quite nicely.

The cups of this chemise are pretty well padded and have an underwire. I would say the sizing on the cups is pretty true. I ordered a Medium, which Dreamgirl says fits a B-C cup. I'm only an A cup and there is quite a bit of room in this for me (and I expected that when I ordered it). It fits very well everywhere else, and I fit into the Medium size everywhere but the cup, so I was pleased. Even though the cups are a bit large, it doesn't look unflattering or awkward.

The back of the chemise hooks like a bra (2 metal clasps) with three size options. The shoulder straps are adjustable, which definitely helps me cope with my small chest and the larger cups.


The color is just what I expected from the pictures online too!

I still haven't washed this piece yet. It's sitting in my lingerie bag, waiting to go, but I've been lazy because I want to wash it separately as I don't know if it will bleed. The instructions suggest you hand wash in cold water and line dry. I think I'll hand wash it at the end of my next shower, let it drip dry, and report back to you guys in my follow-up review!
