Oh the emerald goodness that is this toy. I was skeptical really I was, why you ask? Let's start with the remote...it has a wire I was like goodness this is gonna be difficult but I was oh so wrong. Visually it's pretty to look at, I favor jewel tones for anything not just for toys and this is straight up pretty. It's a little on the sticky side once taken out of the box but get past that I promise it's not a big deal. Now I'm not sure if the majority of people who use this would use it alone or with a partner but I opted for the partner route. The remote thing by yourself its a little awkward with the wire getting in the way. Either way it was tried with the best of intentions. The vibrations on this guy are awesome, there's a dial to amp it up from eh to holy moly. I used this primarily for clitoral stimulation and I'm not complaining. Granted it could be used for penetration but the tack to the surface of it and the shape weren't really my thing. If you can get past that, no worries go for it and it's a keeper no doubt.

It works on two AA batteries and smooth operation. Sometimes you can feel toys shaking themselves to death and after a couple sessions with Emerald it's still operating like it's brand new. Use lube otherwise it will stick and that is no way to start a party. Your lady parts (if that's where you choose to use it) will be very upset with you so please properly slick this one up. My suggestion is if you need more then clitoral stimulation use another toy or whatever your fancy for penetration and let Emerald do the work on your clit.
The thing that I LOVE about this toy is that you can just hand off the remote to your playmate(s). Let them do the control work and you just sit back, relax, and have a good time. The wire is long enough so that someone next to you can easily take control but on a solo gig its too long which makes it kind of a fumble to operate. That's the only downer I could find for this toy. Otherwise it has found a lovely new home with my other friends in a box under the bed and when that sad day comes when it just doesn't want to play anymore I will be getting another one.

The texture on this toy initially bugged me. It comes wrapped in a plastic bag that I had to fight off of it before I could see what I was dealing with. It's tacky and REQUIRES lube; but once lubed up you won't remember the whole fighting the bag off of it ordeal.

I loved the design of this toy, it's got a raised swirl that goes from tippy top to the base which I think while not only visually pretty adds a little somethin-somethin if used for penetration. It makes the toy while visually only about two inches in diameter feel larger. While only about 6ish inches long it won't work for a size queen but otherwise I have no complaints, it's easy to handle if you're going solo and personally I felt was just big enough.

All of the controls for this little baby are located on a remote control at the end of a two foot wire. There is a dial located on the side of the remote that can be turned from slow to fast and fast to slow. It does not gradually get faster it really seems to only have three speeds (slow, medium, fast). The dial is a little misleading as I thought initially it would go up little by little. Not so much, while not a problem by any means I think if it had the option of doing that it would be a huge improvement.

Water-based lube is the go to for this one. Make sure you use specified toy cleaner to clean it up and it MUST be stored in some kind of plastic. It is tacky and so far after 3 uses it's still tacky. Make sure it's stored in something that will cover the surface so that nothing will stick to it. I've found that wrapping it up in a plastic food storage bag seems to be the way to go here.

This toy came in a box that was well...laughable. The box itself is no good for storage and was immediately tossed after opening. The pictures on the box would have prevented me from buying this (I believe the words that came out of my mouth where "holy 80's madness batman"), seriously it's not a fair representation of what's inside. It came wrapped in plastic with some instructions. The instructions while sufficient and likely required for those of us who have trouble turning on the microwave are necessary, with this toy they really aren't needed. Pop in some batteries and get to it.

Overall I like this toy. While not my favorite for going solo I found it to be a just plain fun addition to the toy box. My boyfriend fully enjoys having all the control without even touching me so that's a plus and not something able to be done with most toys. This will be a permanent fixture, one day when it's in failing health and is best sent to the big toy box in the sky I will likely get another one. If not the same one, one very much like it.
