Today, I am writing about the Emerald Screw Vibrator. This California Exotics toy is best used for clitoral stimulation. It is a jelly material, so, in all honesty, I would not recommend inserting it in any orifices without putting a condom on it beforehand. It is not a very discreet toy. It is loud and rather large. Couples can use it for teasing or foreplay and it could be used for solo action. I would also recommend saving this toy for the bedroom. It is not recommended for use in the shower.

The material is the biggest complaint I have about this toy. It is made out of jelly, which has a safety rating of 2 out of 10. This material is NOT hypoallergenic. I did have a slight allergic reaction to this toy. Jelly is also a very sticky material. When this toy was delivered to me, it was cold outside. And when I took it out of the packaging, it was wrapped in a baggie. The toy got so cold that it was sticking to the baggie. Another thing about the jelly material is that it does have a light odor, but not near as bad as a crystalline toy. It is also porous and sticky, which can make it very difficult to clean. The one good thing about the material is that it is very flexible. The toy can even be bent at a 90-degree angle. The texture is bulbed like a screw, which is very appealing. This toy would be perfect if it weren't for the material. The material makes it lose some of its versatility as a toy.

The design of this toy is perfect. It is phallic shape in addition to the screw design going up the toy. It is 7 inches and very true to the real thing. The size is perfect for someone who is more advanced with toys. I would not recommend it for a beginner toy. It is not very subtle or suitable for travel, and it is not very easy to hide. With a diameter of an inch and a half and a circumference of 4 inches and 3/4, this toy is very true to size to a real penis, which is one of the perks of this toy. The vibrator is lodged right in the middle of the shaft of the toy, so the vibrations can be felt throughout the entire toy.

The vibrator has a cord with a handheld, battery-operated control (2 AAA batteries). I turned the toy on after having it for a month, with minimal use, and the strength was still as strong as it was with fresh batteries. I cannot speak as someone who uses the toy regularly about how long the batteries last. At its strongest setting, it is a very intense toy. It is a loud toy and not very discreet. The control is a convenient and easy to use dial. It is not to be used in water.

I would recommend washing this toy with soap and water. I have tried using toy wipes on this toy, and it doesn't seem to clean it good enough. When storing this toy, I just keep it in the box that it came in. I keep it in a drawer in a dry room.

The toy came in a cardboard box wrapped in a plastic baggie. It is not discreet in this manner either. It did not come with instructions, but the toy is easy to use anyways, so I personally believe that this toy did not require instructions. The packaging cannot be used as a gift, but as mentioned earlier, I do store the toy in the box.

Personally, my experience with this toy is kind of bittersweet. The toy was perfect for my personal preference, except for the material.
