Reverse Tightening Gel is supposed to 'reverse' the damage done to your vaginal walls for a better sexual experience, for those that have had kids, or for the more 'mature' folks. Here is a description from the side of the box:



As you can see, the directions say to use a pea sized drop in the vaginal area. By vaginal area, and from what the product is supposed to do, I assumed that they meant to actually put it IN your vagina.

It comes in a plastic, squeezable tube. Upon opening the first time, it has a foil seal over the top that you have to peel off. As soon as I did that, the clear liquid started oozing out of the container. We didn't use it the first time we opened it, so I just closed it and put it away.

I wanted to get the review done, and my husband was at work, so I figured I would use it and try it with one of my toys. So I got it out tonight, and when I opened it, it started oozing again. It wasn't hard to get WAY more than the pea sized drop that was mentioned.

It is clear, and kind of like a very cheap hair gel, as far as consistancy. It does slip off your finger, and drip, if you aren't careful, but I managed to get it to stay on my finger while I snapped about 5 shots to get this picture just right:



It's not sticky at all until it starts drying. Before I put it inside me, I rubbed some on the back of my hand and let it dry to see if my skin felt tighter, and it didn't. But while it's wet, it feels a lot like silicone lube.

It is unscented, but I was too afraid to taste it. If it did work, I didn't want my mouth to shrivel up or feel like it had some coating all over it.

First things first... the ingredients. Straight from the side of the box:



Some of you may have read my review for KY Yours and Mine, about how it felt like my crotch was on fire. Since then, I have used several of these 'tingling' lubes, with no problem. As per the side of the Reverse box, it says it's supposed to tingle. I've decided that by tingle, they mean that it will feel like you put tabasco sauce in your vagina. I literally just did all this about half an hour ago, and it hurt so bad that I am STILL sweating my ass off. My experience with the KY (and my unmedicated home birth of my son) was a walk in the park compared to what happened seconds after I put the Reverse Tightening Gel in my vagina. I am SO glad that I did this now, instead of when we were about to have sex. It burned so fucking bad. I ran around like crazy trying to find a douche bottle in the medicine cabinet, only to realize that I've never douched before. I was depsperate to get this crap out of me. So desperate, in fact, that I ended up lifting the lid to the toilet, and sitting in the water. I couldn't even wait to put water in the tub. It was THAT bad. Don't worry... I took a shower after that. But there is STILL a slight burning sensation in there. And my vagina does NOT feel any tighter. Maybe by tighter, they mean it will swell up. I don't know.

I have my suspicion for which ingredient caused this, but I'm not sure. Cinnamonum cassia resin is basically cinnamon. So, I just put effing CINNAMON in my vagina. I'm not going to dwell on this too long, because I can't say for sure that was the problem, but I can tell you that I'm not allergic to cinnamon, and I have gotten it up my nose before (don't ask) and it burned pretty damn bad.

That being said, I can't speak for the bodies of every woman. I don't know if this will happen to you. I highly recommend that before going all gung-ho and sticking it in your cooter, you test it on a small area of your inner labia, or something like that (your clit probably isn't a good idea) where it's easy to wash off if burning occurs.

The tube is packaged in a pink and silver cardboard box that basically has the same information on it as the tube, such as the product description, and the ingredients.

If I could, I would give it no stars at all.

***EDITED ONE HOUR LATER TO ADD: I am still feeling the effects of this. Not only am I still sweating, but my hands are shaky, and my rectum is burning now, and I know it had no direct contact with the gel, so it must have soaked through the vaginal tissue or something.***
