Metal Worx ben wa balls - vaginal balls discontinued by Pipedream - review by Nissa Nissa

I've been eyeing ben wa balls for a long while but have been hesitant to try any out in fear of "losing a ball". The Metal Worx Ben Wa Balls by Pipedream are solid and quite hefty so my fear of loss was completely unfounded.

With the ben wa balls you can choose to use one ball or both if you want a slightly more intense work out. Now, these balls are made for and make it easy to work your kegels. I, personally, had no issue keeping them in until I got up and gravity took its toll. But that's what they're for right?

I find the best way to use them is to warm the balls with your hands or maybe running some warm water over them so you don't get a shock when you choose to insert them. A little bit of cold does feel nice but to some it might be uncomfortable or cause cramps if they aren't warm enough. I've had this happen personally when I got too antsy with my pure wand.

Insert the balls one at a time or both at once and flex your pelvic floor muscles, holding for 5-10 seconds each "rep". See how many you can do and even practice pushing them out, I did this a few times myself because I was a bit apprehensive but as I said above the weight of the balls make it easy.

These balls are non-porous solid stainless steel giving them a nice glossy and slick feel. There is no smell or taste to the metal and the smooth texture allows for easy insertion.

That said they ARE solid stainless steel and 1" in diameter so lube is required if you're not used to having such a ridgid toy. Beginners might want to look at a smaller size, but personally I think the size is great and the balls do exactly what they are meant to.

The balls are 1" in diameter and 3 1/2" in circumfrence weighing around 1.1 oz per ball. The size was perfect for me and much more comfortable than the silicone kegel exercisers available on the site.

I find the size perfect and if you're worried about both balls being a bit too much, just use one. They are perfect for anyone but beginners might want to look into the smaller model if you're worried about size.

The container that the balls come in make a great travel container but it isn't exactly discreet, the metal worx logo along with pipedream's logo are on the top of the case. You could easily put them in a small bag and voila!

I could not find any faults with these ben wa balls. I really couldn't! They are easy to use and weighted to give your work out a little extra umph. They also feel REALLY good in use like a gentle massage, it was more than enough to get me worked up.

The bottom of the box mentiones that the 1" size is considered "medium", if they come in a larger size I'd like to grab a pair of those as well.

Being made of stainless steel you could easily put these ben wa balls into the dishwasher, possible in the basket you would put your silverware, but I'd recommend them in there alone. You can also use a 10% bleach solution or boil them to completely sterilize them.

They are compatible with all types of lube and are easy to store in their container, in a toy bag or anywhere your heart desires. As long as you aren't super rough with the balls I doubt you'll have any issues.

If sharing with a partner, sterilize between use.

The Metal Worx Ben Wa Balls arrived in a plain brown package through USPS, I'm making not of this because before when I had items shipped to me priority mail they would come in the priority mail box. For me this was less than discreet because it's easier to explain a package that looks like it's from Amazon. I'm glad Edenfantasys changed to the brown boxes.

The actual container for the toys is a black box with metal trim, reminsent of an amplifier for a guitar or possibly a box in which you'd hold jewelry or camera equipment. As stated above, on the top of the container is the Metal Worx logo along with the Pipedream logo making it not so discreet for people who are aware of the line or companies.

Upon opening the latch on the box you will find the balls individually wrapped and nestled in a grey sponge/foam material with spaces cut out to snugly fit each ball.
