extremely useful review

The Fabio from Feelztoys is a neatly shaped traditional vibrator. He can be used on the clitoris or inserted vaginally. Not a good idea to use him anally as there is no flared base and no one needs an embarrassing trip to the ER.

He can be used for solo times, but could make a great addition to a couple's toy box. He is only splash proof so he might work in the shower but definitely not in the tub.

Material / Texture

The Fabio is made of silicone which makes it a 10 on the Eden safety scale, meaning it is non-porous, phthalates free and completely body safe. The silicone coating feels kind of rubbery, it reminds me of the Roulette Croupier. Rest assured, it's actually silicone and not rubber.

The silicone has a bit of drag to it, and the moderate sized girth will make a nice dab of water based lube a good idea. Don't use silicone lubes on silicone toys because you can damage the coating.

The eyes on the head are fairly pronounced but can't be felt during use, and there are some indented ridges at the bottom of the shaft which I didn't notice much during use surprisingly.

Design / Shape / Size

Anyone who comes across this will probably figure out what it's used for so keep it tucked away if discretion is what you're after. He is 8" long with an insertable length of 6 1/2". The circumference of the head is 5 1/4" which narrows down to 3 3/4" and gradually widens to 5 3/4" at the base of the shaft. The shaft stays slim for quite a while before the base so I don't feel stretched out while it's inserted.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Fabio operates on only one push button located right on the base. It runs on two AA batteries, not included. Once you have the batteries inserted, the button needs to be held down for a couple of seconds before the toy can turn on. This is great so the toy may not accidentally get turned on, but I would still avoid storing batteries in the toy when it is not in use to prevent their power from getting drained.

Fabio has three speeds of vibration and two pulsation patterns. The first speeds (low and high) feel like they are actually rapid pulsation modes, but high is definitely a steady and strong vibration. The motor produces nice rumbly vibrations which don't numb me the way buzzy vibrations do. Fabio is also extremely quiet which is great if you live with others. Hold the button down in any setting and Fabio will quickly turn off which is nice if you don't like to cycle through all the modes in order to turn the toy off.

Care and Maintenance

Simply washing Fabio with antibacterial soap and water will do. The indented ridges need careful attention as fluids get trapped there. You can also wipe him down with a 10 percent bleach solution to sterilize him but he doesn't like to be boiled because that will damage the motor and you wouldn't want that.

Fabio doesn't come with any pouch or storage box but he will play nice with other pure cilicone, but not other soft toy materials.

Fabio came in a crappy cardboard box which is not worth keeping but at least it is recycleable. There are no instructions included but the toy is easy to figure out.
