Epona is made from 100% medical grade silicone and is 100% odor free. This is one of the best materials for sex toys since silicone sex toys require little maintenance and can last a lifetime. Silicone is hygienic, as there are no open pores to harbor bacteria. Silicone is also hypoallergenic and the Epona offers all of this without phthalates. The Epona has a great texture. The shaft of the Epona is firm, with flexibility throughout the top half. When you bend the shaft from side to side you can see where the motor is encased inside. The flexible vibe quickly snaps back into the original placement. The silicone is dense, as well as slightly matte with a soft touch that barely has any drag but feels almost of silk. The silicone is not sticky, but feels as a soft thin velor.

Following the minimalistic design from top to bottom you will find that the Epona is beautifully tailored. The Epona offers 5" of insertable loveliness. The Epona is void of flashy or bold textures but does have 2 winding raised veins/waves alongside the shaft. One right below the hook, about 1 1/2" inches long, and one 2" inches above the base, about 2 1/2" inches long. Both don't offer much pleasure during play, but exist and look good doing so. The bottom of the Epona has a glossy 1 3/2" inch rounded base (non insertable) with a 1 button control unit located right under the battery. The Epona takes two AAA batteries. To put in the batteries, take off the cap on the battery compartment. It does not matter on which side the batteries go, but one needs to go positive and another must go in negative.

The newly developed ultra sonic motor is whisper quite despite the strong vibrations. It can barely be heard under covers and is quiet enough to use in a roommate situation. The sounds that it does produce is a light humming comparable to a small compact fan of sorts.

The vibrations from the Epona are very smooth and can be felt though out the entire shaft equally, they do tend to be centralized throughout the tip but absolutely can be felt everywhere. The 100% silicone design is ergonomic for effort less insertion. The 1" G spot hook hit the spot every time. It retains heat and feels amazing during use.

The Epona works great on the clitoris as well as the exterior anus. Since there is not a flange on the base, please do not insert into your anus, as great as this would feel on your P spot it isn't safe for use there. Enjoy responsibly.

Cleaning up is a breeze. Unfortunately the sleeve around the motor is unremovable.
To safety clean this toy: Remove the batteries and replace top. In order to keep the seal waterproof, make sure to the top is completely on. Wipe the toy down with warm soapy water, rubbing alcohol, toy cleaner or a 10% bleach mixture. Rinse and let dry.

Always keep your toys completely clean, dry and battery-less when storing.

Use condoms when switching orifices to fend off bacteria and UTI's.

Use only water based lubes as silicone lubes tend to bond with silicone toys. Also, do not store with other silicone toys as silicone likes to bond to other silicone materials.

The packaging is beautiful. Epona arrives in a class black damask cardboard box which measures 10" inches in height x 4" inches in width x 2" in depth.

The front of the box is removed to show the blister pack interior. The black flap opens to show you the back of the vibe with the same cut out. There is a magnet in the flap to keep it closed. Inside, the Epona is centered in a molded blister pack. There are 2 AAA batteries included. There is also a user manual in English, French, German and Spanish. Along with a second manual in Dutch, Russian, Polish and Italian.

Inserting the Epona was a breeze for me, a small bit of lube and Epona slid right in. Quick and easy - just the way I like it. Turning it on is comfortable once inserted. The single button control makes Epona amazing to use. My partner also enjoyed using the Epona on me, making it great for solo play or partner play. It works great during sex for clitoral stimulation; Since there is a hook for G spot use, it comes in convenient when holding upside down to hit the clit. Using vaginally, Epona works great for double penetration. Or for it's intended purpose of targeting your G spot, which it has no problem doing. The Epona would also work great during body massage to relax pressure points. The vibrations are so strong that they easily transfer throughout your body, taking this into consideration, you are warned of the mind blowing orgasms you will receive. The down side being, that you have to cycle though all of the controls is you miss the mode you were trying to get to. There isn't a light either, which was a bummer. It's also hard to memorize what mode you want to be one, so try to educate yourself with the variety before you put it to use. Be careful when when thrusting as it is easy to inadvertently hit the control button.

The one thing that made the Epona standout from the rest of my collection was the motor. I adore it, and look forward to other products made by Shots Media. It's so quiet considering the mega strong vibrations. It also has the smoothest vibrations I have ever experienced.

The only negative issue I had, was trying to get it to shut off. If you don't press the button long enough you cycle though the controls. If you press it too long, it turns it back on. Gah! I just remove the batteries anyways when storing. But, could easily see this being a problem when storing or traveling with batteries in. Your best bet is to keep the batteries out when storing.

Also, the pre-packaged batteries from the manufacturer are not completely full and will run out of juice quickly.
