Duotone orgasm balls by California Exotic Novelties claim to be scientifically weighted for your pleasure. They are meant to be entered into the vagina only, be rest assured they are not anal balls. Their purpose is to help women do kegel exercises and some women claim that they provide orgasm at the same time. If an orgasm should happen it would be due to the fact of the added weight and the movement from the internal balls. You are going to want to use spit, lube, or natural lube with these and sharing should not really be an option. They can be worn during intercourse vaginally only and your partner would enter you anally; this would provide a unique feeling for both of you.

These balls are not really effective for kegels, but are amusing to wear around. My first thought upon pulling them out of the package was about the sound, it reminds me of Yatzee, when you put the dice in the cup and shake them. When you put them inside the sound is muffled, it sounds similar to if your stomach is upset, but my husband standing next to me could not hear the sound. I personally have not had an orgasm from these balls, but do enjoy wearing them and popping them out.

Duotone balls are made of plastic with a nylon pull string. The balls being plastic is great since plastic is food grade material, latex free, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and non porous with a safety rating of an 8. The nylon pull string is another story; nylon absorbs juices, lubes, and can give you a fabric burn. Cleaning the string is almost impossible since it would absorb soap during cleaning which could be impossible to get out and not cleaning it good could give you an infection. Which is why you should not really share these at all, only expose your vagina to your own bacteria with these. There is no smell or taste associated with these balls.

There is no added texture, since it is smooth and firm plastic. The balls do have a seam on them, that is rather defined, but does not effect there usage. The nylon pull string is twisted to prevent unraveling, but there is no guarantee and it might just do that.

Duotone balls are two ping pong ball sized balls, which are 1.5” long and 4.25” circumference. These balls are separated by a 4”nylon pull string, which goes through the last ball and out to a 2” long loop. This loop is the handle, which it is good for four of my fingers, which is 5.5” around. These balls are only available on Eden in pink and white tie dye, but with the manufacturer you can also purchase purple and white tie dye. Tie dye is random splashes of colors blended and in this case is pink and white. I personally love tie dye and love pink, which was the main appeal to these balls.

In my opinion the balls could have weighted more and could have had more girth. The size is more beginner friendly and more advanced users are going to find these lacking. They are more amusing to roll around in your hand and shake the balls, than they are orgasmic. The length of the cord in the middle is a bit too long, they could have been much closer together and or maybe it could have been broken up with one more ball. Something in the design is lacking.

These balls are not a total fail performance wise. They do not work to achieve orgasm and they are not the greatest for kegels. They do not work for orgasms, since they are not heavy enough and the balls movement is not intense enough. They will work for kegels, but more for women who are petite down there. The pull string is a real issue; they make these balls not a good choice for long term use. They are comfortable to wear around for a few hours, but they are not something you are going to want to use frequently over time period. This is because of the string, it will collect soap, lint, lube, juice, and bacteria and cleaning it will not work so well. Then it will eventually unravel, leaving it useless. So if you want a cheap tester kegel balls, these are good choice.

They do work well for use during intercourse, which is the better way to use them. The internal balls movement creates unique feelings inside of the vagina as you are rocked, these feelings are also applied to the penis, if the partner enters you anally.

These balls are also water proof, there are no controls or wiring to worry about. You can take them in the shower or the tub.

The plastic balls can be cleaned with soap and water or your choice toy cleaner. The nylon cord is something you are going to have a hard time cleaning. You are going to want to hand wash using your nails to scrub the material, trying not to unravel it. Be sure to rise really well, to get the soap or toy cleaner all the way out, if it is left in the cord it could irritate the vagina. If you get an infection after using these I recommend throwing them out, since there could be a horrible bacteria hiding in the nylon.

Plastic is compatible with all of your favorite lubes. So enjoy, but remember to try to clean it out of the string as best as possible.

The balls come packaged in a clear plastic clam shell with a paper insert. There are no directions or instructions included. The package is not discreet and should be wrapped if gifting. The package is not good for long term storage.
