I found no problems with the finish on this ring: there are no pits, discoloration or sharp protrusions. During use it did what a metal cock ring should and preformed well. Positioning is key during intercourse to prevent pain to myself or the wife. That is something that a person should experiment with beforehand.

My main problem with this ring is the hinge and lock side and how they are finished. The edges are sharp - as such, when putting it on it is very easy to get skin caught in there. In this I find that putting it on while soft is the best bet, kind of defeats the purpose, eh? Also, adjusting the ring once hard can be a pain (literally) as it can grab skin/hairs or scratch me. I am not one for pain on my junk at anytime.

I found the hinge on mine to be pretty loose - the rivet that holds the two pieces together should nave been smashed a bit more. This may have helped with the pinching when on since it allows the two halves to move a bit.
