Double the rings, double the fun!

The Magnum Support Plus Double Mag Ring is one of the more ambitious (and unique) rings I've seen. While it does have some flaws it also produces intense results. If you have previous cock ring experience and feel confident that it will comfortably fit your dimensions, I definitely recommend it. Overall I give the ring a B-, which means I feel it's a good product, but will only function for the crowd it's intended for.

Use

The Magnum Support Plus Double Mag Ring has certainly been a lot of fun for me. While it doesn't give me much extra length, never has my dick looked so bulgy and veiny like a porn star's! Watching a porn with it strapped on while using your favorite jerking lube is an extreme pleasure. My partner also noticed how it worked and has enjoyed giving me some extreme oral (with a bit of tasty lube). Go figure that sucking a big veiny dick is a turn on for some people. We've also banged with it on in several positions, some more enjoyable and some less enjoyable with the ring on. I've noticed I seem stiffer, hold off on ejaculating longer, and remain hard during position transitions better with the ring on. I also really appreciate the design of the ring, in that when I need to remove it I can just grab the "handles" the two half rings create and easily (and most of all painlessly) stretch the ring out; this makes it a very smooth transition to remove it from myself.

Some cons also come with the device though. Because of its two and a quarter inch length and one point seven ounce weight it can make some positions or devices uncomfortable. For example, I find the ring too uncomfortable for my partner to ride on top of me cowboy style, and I find it harder to have "deeper" penetration with masturbation sleeves with wide mouths (such as a fleshlight).

Also, because this is a nonadjustable (once it's wrapped around behind your package) shaft and testicle ring, you should be careful to observe its one and a quarter inch unstretched diameter. If you're unsure if this is too much pressure I would recommend using a measuring tape or practicing with a more adjustable type of ring first (I've listed a couple products below for your convenience).

Material / Texture

Mag Support is made from TPR with two stainless steel double half rings.

It has a firm matte texture, that makes it stick to and sort of grab wherever it's placed (which means it won't slip off in heated moments). It can catch onto your pubic hairs but I haven't had any problems of it pulling them off (I always lube the ring lightly before putting it on). This texture also makes it a sort of lint or dust magnet, so storage in a covered drawer or lint free fabric (like silk) is recommended.

I can detect almost no smell from the product. Only if I really stick my nose in the ring can I detect a faint rubber smell.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

TPR is naturally stretchy, and the stainless steel rings are, well... not stretchy. That's actually the point of the rings though. Normally when you stretch a ring out like this it can be difficult to slip your package through, due to opening becoming a very thin shape (think of stretching a rubber band out on both sides). The rings actually allow you to pull the ring into a more rectangular shape when stretched, making putting the ring on a lot easier than other rings I've tried.

Please note that this ring is not adjustable, it will always shrink back to its original size on your package. I think it's sort of hard for me to explain whether the ring is a good size. I consider myself "average white guy size" in regards to my equipment down there, and I find the ring to be tight but not too tight. I recommend that you take a soft measuring tape and wrap it around your scrotum and penis when soft to give yourself an idea what you might be up against. Also note that there are some free informative videos out there (on both Eden and YouTube) to help you determine if a cock ring is the right size for you.

That being said, I find the ring to be a tight and snug fit. Because of its dimensions and double rings, it definitely feels tighter (and has more of a pull to it) than more adjustable rings (such as snaps or velcro), but at the same time it's far less "nut-crunching" than hard silicone or steel rings.

Beginners to cock rings might want to start with a more adjustable type of product, like a snap ring or a velcro ring first, then work your way up to a less adjustable product like this.
    • Can fit over both shaft and testicles
    • Fitted - must measure before purchase
    • Tight fitting

Care and Maintenance

Mag Double Plus is made of TPR, which means it is slightly porous and can slightly absorb whatever it comes into contact with. So I recommend using a water based lube to put the ring on, then using any good quality water, oil, or silicone based lube for play, followed by a gentle cleaning with soap and water after use.

I recommend keeping the ring in a cover or container so it won't press against and become adhered (or bonded) to other toys. The ring is pretty compact so you can easily use a small lint free rag or even the plastic pack it comes in for storage.

I've stretched the ring many times and noticed no sort of visible tear outside or inside the ring, so I'm not completely sure of the lifespan of this product. However, if tearing is noticed the ring should probably be monitored after each use before it is discarded (it's better to be safe than sorry in my book).

TPR is a kind of rubber, and I've only read of a few individuals having allergic reactions to it. The ring is also hypo-allergenic, latex free, and phthalate free.
    • Can be cleaned to an extent
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The ring comes packaged in a simple blister pack that I was able to open without ripping or using scissors. A lot of information is printed (the most important stuff in tiny text) on the back of the insert. It also has a link to the calexotics main site and a place for product registration at vibetronics. I'm unsure about getting a warranty on this ring, it seems a little bit odd to me. The packaging is also decent for storage of your ring (I still prefer a simple lint free fabric around it).

Experience

I have about a year's worth of experience with cock rings. They are definitely a toy that I feel requires more education, practice, and finesse than is generally expected. I'm going to explain a lot of basic how-to info here, so skip ahead if you feel experienced in these devices.

Cock rings come in two primary styles, those that slip over the shaft of the penis, and those that fit over the shaft and testicles (this ring will mostly only fit guys over the shaft and testicles). Some men find one style more or less comfortable over another, so I highly recommend experimentation.

Since this is a shaft and testicle ring, I'll explain in detail how to wear it. To put the ring on, first make sure you're in a flaccid and calm state (if your already having a raging hard on I wouldn't bother with the ring anyway). Apply a bit of lube around the inside of the ring and around the padding of flesh behind your balls and dick. Stretch the ring out a good bit and slide it all the way past your testicles and penis, then slowly allow the ring to contract around yourself (if you're having beginner trouble with this step positioning can be a big issue, I recommend standing up and pulling the ring from the bottom of your nuts upwards and over in kind of an arc). FOR THE LOVE OF YOURSELF GO SLOW AND STEADY- accidentally pinching the crap out of your balls and pole is a real mood killer.

Once your ring is on feel free to adjust it, some guys like to push the ring all the way back and (slowly and gently) pull your scrotum skin all the way through (this is my personal preference). You can twist the ring so it's sort of bent at an angle away or towards your stomach. I've also seen it pulled forward a bit to sort of "push" on your ball sack. Once again, experimentation and practice is key.

Cock rings should not be worn for extended periods of time, longer than twenty to thirty minutes is considered a health risk. In the beginning I recommend using a cock ring for less than ten minutes until you become adjusted to the sensations and what you can take pressure-wise, otherwise you'll end up very sore for the rest of the day. Also allow around an hour before using the ring again, to allow your blood flow to re-circulate.

Speaking of circulation, I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST using a c-ring while under the effects of alcohol or drugs. You could easily be under too much pressure and not feel it, or worse, pass out with the ring on. I also personally advise against wearing a c-ring and playing with your anus too much; your blood rushes to your butt during anal play, making the circulation of your junk weaker, and putting a ring on while that happens just sort of strangulates your package in my experience.

Don't frown at all those paragraphs, C-Rings are devices that have been used safely for centuries. I just want you to have all the info before you have a go at one yourself so you can enjoy it.
