I'm O-Mega Confused

If you're looking for your first cock ring, go for something adjustable. If you are experienced and want a challenge, the Omega Mirror can work for you. I can be during masturbation and intercourse, as well as used with toys. Be warned though, this thing will break a toe if it's dropped!

Use

The Omega Mirror is... interesting. It is classified as a cock ring. If you're looking at it on Eden, you would probably assume it is. If you're looking at it on a table or in a more sterile setting, then your imagination can take over. It looks like a napkin ring or a paperweight. In this way, you could call it discreet.

Cock rings are intended to fit over the penis (sometimes behind the scrotum as well). They can be either flexible or solid. The Omega Mirror is solid, so it there is no room for adjustment here. To properly use the Omega Mirror, it's important you get the right size. If in doubt, use a measuring tape!

I think the Omega Mirror will only work for certain anatomies. If your penis is a match for one of the Omega sizes, it will be able to prolong erection. A male can wear them during masturbation, while using a toy, or during intercourse with a partner. Always make sure not to use cock rings for too long as the blood in the penis will eventually need oxygen again. It is best to use a cock ring for no more than 20-30 minutes a session (the ones that definitely restrict blood flow. That's different from looser ones for other forms of play, particularly BDSM). It's also good to wait at least an hour if you're planning on using it again (Credit: Thank you phroggie for helping me here!).

If new to cock rings, it's best to go for an adjustable or disposable cock ring. It's not a hit in the wallet if you don't like it. Also, having an adjustable cock ring is more likely to fit and be more comfortable when trying them out. This one is for more experienced users.

Material / Texture

The Omega Mirror is made of pure stainless steel. It ranks a 10 out of 10 on the safety scale. It is non-porous and hypoallergenic. It also has an anti-bacterial property. The steel is perfectly smooth. If you need a glide, you can always add a drop of your favorite lubricant.

It is simply a hard, unyielding, metal ring. Don't drop it, because you can break a toe with this thing. Go ahead and bang it against a wall. I think the Omega Mirror will win against the wall, and without a dent to show for it.

There is not overt odor to the Omega Mirror. Because of the anti-bacterial properties, I would advise against tasting or licking it.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The Omega Mirror comes in 2 sizes: one with a 2 inch diameter, and one with a 1 7/8 inch diameter. That's calling for a total circumference of almost 6 inches or 6 1/4 inches. The average circumference of a penis is about 5 inches, plus or minuns half an inch. At this point you have few options. If you have a penis, or your partner has a penis, that is 6 inches in circumference, then this will work for you. And boy, are you/they endowed!

If you are the other, oh, 90 percent of the male populous, you can try and place the Omega behind your scrotum as well. As a female, I don't know the experience personally, but from what I have heard and seen, this is considered an art of sorts. One way to get it behind the scrotum is to put the head of the penis in, and then finagle each testicle in. If you have larger than average testicles or highly sensitive testicles to this kind of movement, I would not recommend the Omega (Credit: thank you RedKyuubi for the info and insight).

Here's the Omega Mirror compared to some other toys. I don't have a dildo with balls, so I could not provide those kinds of pictures.

If you have a penis with a smaller circumference than 6 inches and put it on in fron of the scrotum, this will slide right off. Again, your or your partner's size affects how this will work for you.

Even if the Omega Mirror works for you in terms of size, be careful when removing the ring. Since it is not adjustable or stretchy, it is different for removal. Lubricant can help and make it easier to remove. Use a gentle twisting/wiggling motion to remove the Omega Mirror off the penis. And be careful and moving your testicles free from the ring. Since the penis is also spongy in nature, you can press below the ring to make the ring slide off. Still, always try not to have a cock ring on for more than 30 minutes.

Here it is the Omega placed over some dildos I own. I've put the Omega on both the Sedeux Flare and the Goddess. The Goddess has a circumference of 4.5 inches. The Flare has one of 4 inches. The Omega Mirror easily slides off them with some room.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Omega Mirror does not have any mechanical or additional functions.

Care and Maintenance

Care for the Omega Mirror is easy. It can be washed with soap and water or toy cleaner. It has no mechanical parts, so it can be submerged with no problem. While it is stainless steel, it's always good to make sure your toy is fully dry. The Omega ring does come with a black, drawstring pouch for storage. It is small, so it can be stored anywhere with ease.

Packaging

The packaging for the Omega Mirror is very minimal. It comes in a black, velvety, drawstring pouch. There are no instructions of any kind.

Personal comments

While looking at this monster of a cock ring, I realized it could be used as part of an O-ring harness. It will be able to hold flared dildos in place if you can strap it into a harness. It's a bit big, but it could be an option for those who like DIY projects.

Experience

My housemates know my affiliation with Eden, so when my package came in the mail, I had no issue opening it in the living room with everyone around. When I got to the Omega Mirror I opened the pouch and just stared at it. Then I held it up to my housemates. We passed it about with our first thought being, "how the heck is this supposed to fit?"

We thought it could make a good napkin ring or paper weight since it has heft. Another housemate through of various ways you could weaponize it (college students, right?)

Either way, my partner was willing to try the Omega Mirror even though he was confident it wouldn't fit. Even erect, when he put it on, it slid right off. Then he tried putting his scrotum in it but couldn't fit even half of it. I should note, he does (medically) have larger than average sized testicles. Instead, he jokingly remarked he could exercise his penis by flexing his muscles while balancing the ring on it. Either way, be prepared for a learning curve if you're trying to master this one.

Overall, the Omega Mirror will probably have an alternative purpose for us. If anything, it was a good laugh.

Maybe one of the worst reviews I ever read! Sorry - have to be honest. You show no understanding for the product or it's intended use. Even though you couldn't find a way to make it work - you gave it 3 stars.

I don't know. I understand what a cock ring is and what it does. I am aware of the safety issues with using one. I may not know the exact logistics of putting one on, but I listened to other men who have used them.

Rating a product is not based on what I think about it. I rate a product based on how it would be for the average user. So even if we couldn't really use it, I understand how well it would work and how the average user would feel about it.

Still, to each their own. I appreciate the criticism.
