The material that this toy is made of is pretty good. Some Japanese designed foam I guess, which is called TPE or TPR. This material is safe with silicone and water-based lubricants. TPR toys cannot be disinfected with boiling water. You can wash them with warm water and toy cleaner or mild soap. I usually wash it with mild soap, and it's preety easy: push your thumb to the bottom (end) of the sleeve, while with the other hand you flip the sleeve inside out. This way you can get the inside of the toy to be the outside of the toy, which would make it very simple to clean.
