Cock ring discontinued

Just another ring

This is an okay ring to serve it's purpose, it will work for beginners, but I would recommend being mindful that it's a tight fit and know your size before you buy it, because you'll want to buy a ring that fits. This will fit small to average sized males.

Use

There is nothing that is ridiculously fabulous about this ring. It's a typical cock ring, which can aid in sustaining erection. This particular ring is made of TPR and is 1" diameter, but can stretch to 2 1/2" but I would say it would be a little tight at that. So let's say the comfort zone is probably up to 2". The thing I want to note about this is the little knots on the side of it, there are 6 bullet shaped nodules. They don't really provide anything extra, except perhaps a little rubbing sensation on occasion when the guy is fully inside. I didn't really see much point other than decoration in them. Honestly, the part I disliked about this was when you put it on, you had to roll it around to get it untwisted. It twists up SO bad when you put it on that it's almost painful. There is also no place to insert a bullet, the picture looks like there might be a place but there isn't.

I'd not really recommend this to anyone in particular, because of the bad problem with twisting. If you want to deal with it, then that's okay, but it pinches hair quite a bit, and being that it is TPR, we all know how that can feel when a rubbery material twists on hair, it pulls and hurts. It is not a BAD ring, I want to point that out, it's just that I'm used to metal rings, which don't catch hair and don't have to be untwisted.

Material / Texture

This ring is made of TPR, which is sometimes called TPE as well. It is a polymer blend or compound that exhibits a thermoplastic character. It feels a lot like silicone, essentially. This is a ribbed cock ring because of the 6 nodules on it, which have a bullet like shape. It is smooth other than the nodules, which again, are considered to be ribbed.

If you use any lubricants with it, please keep away from oil and stick to water based and silicone based lubricants.
Keep in mind this is porous, though not as porous as some toys can be such as PureSkin or CyberSkin. Boiling will not sterilize this so when cleaning you might want to stick with antibacterial soap and warm water.

In a way the texture can stimulate, but it really was too big of nodules to stimulate for me, it does look decorative and "pretty" and it will support it's purpose of helping to sustain an erection, but I don't feel that it does anything for the female partner.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

It's a bit of a tight fit, but in a way it's supposed to be. Now let me just say for beginners who haven't used them, it's not supposed to cut off circulation in anyway, so if the penis gets cold or starts to lose feeling, take it off. It is best to wear this for a bit then take it off, to ensure blood flow is still circulating well. When used properly this can be worth it's while. The bullets on it do not actually hold a vibrating bullet and are not capable of holding on, which is admittedly disappointing. It is stretchy, so it is adjustable to an extent, but will only stretch max to 2 1/2" so keep that in mind. When taking this toy off it can catch hair around it because it rolls/twists as you take it off, so be mindful and careful of that.
I think this would fit average and smaller guys, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone who is thicker in diameter, it would be painful and cut off blood supply. Cock rings are supposed to be fun, not kill the penis!

This will work for either just the penis or to go over the penis and the balls, just keep in mind if you're a bigger guy it's going to be a really tight fit.

Care and Maintenance

This doesn't appear to collect lint, which is good. That gives you availability on places to store it. Obviously it's rather small so it shouldn't be hard to put away. Make sure to clean it with warm water and anti-bacterial soap because you can't sterilize this by boiling or bleach, so you want to protect it and keep it safe as long as possible by keeping it clean with water and soap.

Packaging

The cock ring came in a small box, nestled into some plastic to keep the cock ring in place. The packaging is not particular discreet and doesn't really give any information about using the ring. You can use it to store the toy if you want, but it's bigger than the toy so I would think you'd want to store it in something smaller to take up less space.

Follow-up commentary
Things pretty much haven't changed with this ring. I haven't touched it since-I feel like it's a hassle and it doesn't work for its intended purpose. It doesn't really make an erection any bigger, although I will say it lasts a little longer. But meh, just not my cup of tea I suppose.

Great review, Middy! It's too bad that it has no vibrating component, but I suppose that that's good for some people who do not want it.

You didn't come out and say it and your first paragraph confused me a bit with the measurements...so did this work? Like as a cock ring to make him harder, bigger? I saw you said it made him sustain an erection which is only one of the parts that a good cock ring should accomplish. And does this mean that he lasted longer? If so, how much?

The twisting this was not something I would have figured by looking at tit. I'll have to remember that for future buying!

Middy, with a stretchy material, using a lube is almost a necessity with a cock ring. It's different with metal (although I'd still use lube with metal.) It prevents pulling skin and hair, like you mentioned. It also facilitates putting the thing on and taking off, so it doesn't twist. I'm willing to bet that a small amount of water based lube will help with the twisting problem and the hair getting pulled.

    Good review.

I didn't think about that, I've never used a cock ring really that was like this, the other one I had was vibrating and was pretty big so I didn't use lube with it. But yeh, the twisting was SO annoying..

Lauren- It probably just came out wrong on my part. I struggled to review this one. I actually didn't notice any change in size, just that it helped keep erection to last longer. I'd estimate about 30-40 minutes longer than normal. It starts to cut off circulation though, that's why I mentioned it being way more tight than I'm used to.

Nice review! I'm sorry that this isn't an exciting ring, but it sounds like it's functional, which is always a good thing.

My crotch winced at the mention of hair pulling. Thanks for the review

Keeping hair removed or trimmed is the best way to avoid the hair-pulling problem, but I'd still apply lube for ease of use Excellent review!
