Lost in Translation

The Memorial is a translucent pink TPE male masturbation sleeve with an unusual rectangular exterior. The interior is inviting with a three chamber winding tunnel that beckons for a good cock ravaging. It doesn’t disappoint as the interior ribs stroke the head and shaft very well. The TPE is stretchy which means it should be able to accommodate most guys without a problem. TPE doesn’t have phthalates, but it is porous, so condom use is encouraged if you’re going to be sharing it.

extremely useful review
First off, I don’t usually talk much about the packaging of my toys, but I feel like this one requires some explanation. Most of the text on the box is written in Japanese, so if there are any special instructions on use or cleaning, I will have to admit that I am not able to understand them. I think that the English name for the toy is “Memorial”. It also says “salvation style” which may indicate the winding feature of the tunnel through the middle of the toy. The other English line on the box says “the highest quality three layer & winding hole”. Upon looking at the toy, I was confused about the three layer concept. The material of the toy seems to be in two layers: the outer translucent layer which constitutes the majority of the toy and the inner opaque layer. Later it occurred to me that they might be referring to the three chambers of the inner tunnel with the “&” removed. Then the line would be “the highest quality three chamber winding hole” which would describe the toy pretty well. I think the most surprising thing about this toy is its physical dimensions.  It is rectangular in shape instead of round, which means the toy really has a lot of weight to it. It also means that there is probably a lot of wasted material in the toy. I would think that shaving off the corners would make the toy easier to hold and would require less material to manufacture.

Speaking of material, since I could not read it from the box I wondered what it was made out of, so I put out an e-mail to EdenFantasys and they were happy to tell me that it is thermo-plastic elastomer (TPE). This means that there shouldn’t be the phthalate problem that many jelly materials have but it is still very stretchy. It also means that the toy cannot be sterilized, so no sharing without using a condom. I don’t intend on letting any other guy dip his wick in my Memorial, so that isn’t a big concern for me. I also don’t see a way that this could be used in two different orifices, so that shouldn’t be much of a worry.

After all of that, you have to be thinking, “but how does it feel?” I think that it feels good. It doesn’t feel as good as the real thing (either oral or vaginal), and I don’t think the experience is quite as good as the “Head Honcho”, but it definitely feels good. I find myself constantly wanting to use both hands to hold it because of its size and shape, but twisting it as I go provides different pleasing sensations. I find that the size of the opening requires me to already be a little hard when I get started, but once things get going it’s able to stiffen me up and take me all the way.
Experience
The Memorial Pocket Pal has an interior plastic sleeve inside the exterior card board box that was somewhat difficult to remove in one piece. I suppose I could have cut it off, but I didn’t want to damage the toy, so after wrestling with it for a while I was finally able to get it out. After removing all of the packaging, I couldn’t help but stick my finger in there to see how it felt. I made sure to clean my hands first though, because I thought that the Memorial would not be as easy to clean as some other toys. At first, I hesitated to ejaculate inside it because I was not sure how well I would be able to clean it out afterward. I was very hesitant to turn it inside out because although the material is stretchy, I didn’t know how far it would stretch before breaking. Then I through caution to the wind and went ahead and tried to turn it completely inside-out. I was amazed, that with a little effort I could invert the toy completely with no obvious damage to the toy. This TPE is very stretchy. I cleaned off the inside (which was now the outside) and even felt the new interior of the toy. It was tight inside, but without the ridges, it didn’t provide a lot of stimulation. It is definitely better as a masturbation sleeve right-side out. Also regarding stretchiness, I am a pretty average size guy, and the Memorial seemed to fit pretty well. I think that this toy could stretch to accommodate most guys, but if you were very well endowed it might not stretch enough to be comfortable for you. It is also longer than the Head Honcho|Sue Johanson Head Honcho Review by about an inch, so if you find yourself bottoming out too often on some of that, this might be a better fit for you. Finally, I did test it out with some silicone lube, and it seemed to be fine, so silicone and water based lubricants should be good.

Glad you enjoyed it. What the heck is a three chamber interior sleeve?
  • Contributor: Jimbo Jones
A lot of male masturbators have chambers on the interior of the sleeve. Some have more separation than this one has, but there are three distinct wide areas as the tunnel winds its way through the toy.

The rectangular shape weirds me out a bit. Does that make it harder or easier to grip?
  • Contributor: Jimbo Jones
DD, I agree the rectangular exterior is weird. I found that it makes it more difficult to grip.

    Strange-looking.

    Indeed.

    Weirdest one I've seen yet!

It's definitely unique and the shape doesn't make it very conducive to holding on to either.
