Red knit silk panel short - shorts discontinued by Magic Silk - review by Elias McLovin

I've wanted to try silk underwear for a while, but they've always seemed too expensive for just one. I was excited when my fiancé told me she was buying me a pair. She got me a pair of red shorts from Magic Silk, and after having worn them, I’ll definitely be buying more. They are very comfortable and the fabric feels great against my skin. I especially like the extra stimulation the fabric gives me during foreplay.

The Magic Silk shorts are made from 100% silk. The back is one whole piece. The front is made of five pieces. One piece that runs horizontally across the top, two pieces for each leg, and the crotch is made from two panels that form a pouch. The waistband is about ¾ of an inch wide, and tight enough to stay flat. The shorts are about 11 inches from the waistband to the bottom of the leg. They are much shorter than the boxers I usually wear. Those go to about an inch above my knees, while the Magic Silk shorts only go down about an inch past my crotch. There is no opening in the front, which is fine with me. I think the extra fabric for an opening would detract from how the pouch shows off my package. The seams on the inside stick out a bit, but they are hardly noticeable while I am wearing them. The material is pretty breathable and stays dry, so you can wear these all day.

These shorts come in Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large. I have the medium, which is my size for underwear, and they fit just fine. They do fit a little tighter than the tight boxers I usually wear, but it’s not a big difference. They do ride up a bit at the bottom, but not so bad to be constantly picking wedgies. There is no sizing chart on Eden Fantasys for Magic Silk products, but the package includes one. Here it is in case you are interested in purchasing these shorts or other Magic Silk products.

The cleaning instructions for these shorts are to wash in cold water on the delicate cycle, and tumble dry with no heat. I accidentally washed and dried these with a normal load of clothes, and they seemed to be fine. I wouldn’t wash them like that all the time, but once in a while probably wouldn’t hurt. If these happen to get stained, regular washing may not get them out. I looked it up online how to get stains out of silk, and this is what I found: Fill a sink with cold water. Add ½ to 1 cup of mild soap and 2 tbsp of vinegar. Soak the garment for no more than five minutes. Remove it from the solution, and gently rub out the stains. I tried this and it worked pretty well.

The shorts come packaged in a somewhat larger than necessary box. The box has a black background with tribal designs and a picture of a man modeling the underwear on the front. The back has a little excerpt about the product and washing instructions. The bottom of the box has the sizing chart.
