Measure up pump - penis pump discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by CanMan

For first time users, make sure you use plenty of lubrication on and around the shaft and head of your penis, then insert your penis into the plastic chamber and pump the handle to the desired level of suction. Whether it is hard or soft when you insert it into the chamber, this device will pump life into your penis. No sooner do you start pumping than this device is giving pleasure to your throbbing member. Until I tried out a pump, I was a non-believer. Now, this is one of my new favorite toys.

The chamber is a clear hard plastic tube and on the side it marks the centimeters from 1 up to 20cm in a ruler style (20cm is roughly 8 inches). At the top of the chamber is a rubber hose with a rubber pump attached. In the pump handle base there is a metal release valve, for when you need the suction in the chamber released to free yourself from its grip. The Measure Up pump also comes with 3 rubber sleeves that attach to the bottom of the tube, where you insert yourself. These sleeves were not very comfortable and it would have been nice if they were made with a softer material. The sleeves did have a slight rubbery smell to them.

The Measure Up pump is a pretty standard size and design. It has a nice wide 2 1/4" girth. There is a little more playroom at the top of this particular pump. The size of the chamber should fit most men especially when lubed up. The product itself weighs in at a whopping 1 pound, but when you pump all of the air out that chamber, boy do you feel it. For the most part, yes this toy is easy enough to hide as long as people are not looking too hard for it. The pump tube and the shaft chamber can be separated for easier cleaning of the chamber. Disassembled, it is a much more discreet looking toy.

This toy has some of the best suction for a pump of this price range. With the pump handle and release valve you can set the suction to the level of your liking. Every pump of the ball in your hand creates a whole new level of powerful suction locking around your rock hard shaft. The only sound this toy makes is the sucking and release of the air from the pump. Even that is pretty darn quiet. If you are a little shy about using this with your partner, you can still use it by yourself for ten minutes during the day and when you get back with your partner later, you should see a difference. All-n-All, I would rate the functionality of this product as 5 stars because it does just what it's supposed to do.

This toy is not too difficult to clean- warm soap and water works fine. But make sure that you have something long enough to reach the back of the inside of the chamber. The pump tube is removable from the pump chamber to make the chamber easier to clean. The chamber is hard plastic so any water based lube will work fine with it. The instructions recommend against using petroleum based lubes as they can be very bad for your skin under pressure.

Not too much to say here- the pump came in a generic cardboard box with some pictures on it. I would not use it to store my toy. Instructions were included.

This toy can be a lot of fun if used right. You should know that the pump has a warning against using the toy for any longer than 30 min at a time. Also, as mentioned above, you are warned not to use it with petroleum based lubes since these can harm your skin under the pump's pressure.

I will usually end up using my pump before I go out on a Friday night and it really starts getting my blood flowing. Some people like to combine pump use with supplements, but you should check with a doctor first.
