My New Eden Paper Weight

I was wondering why I was given this assignment , then I realized the folks at

Eden realized I needed a paper weight. Very comfortable fit for me, my wife

doesn't care for it. Comes with a classy container you can hide things in. I

give the Strut a 3 star review, why you ask? Well i like it, it's got a classy can,

but it bruised my wife. We agreed to meet at 2.5 stars, however that's not

allowed.

useful review
When I received the Strut cock ring it came in an attractive looking metal can. The can has

black velvet-like lining. I figure this is to protect the ring from scratches. This can in my

opinion, is very classy and could be perfect for loose change.

The Strut is made from stainless steel, a type of a metal, which has a material safety rating

of 10. Eden has the Strut listed as metal, which has a material safety rating of 9. Why do I

have a difference of opinion? Metal will cling to an average kitchen magnet, Stainless steel

does not cling to a magnet, I conducted this experiment. The difference between metal and

stainless is that metal is porous and stainless steel is non porous. The Strut has nodules on

the outside of the ring which are not sharp, however they catch my finger when I run my

finger over them. The inside of this ring is super smooth.

Gear essentials designed the Strut like a cog wheel. This cock ring is silver in color and

very shiny. It has some weight to it as well at 0.2 lbs. When not used for sexual pleasures

it can double as a paperweight. The inner diameter of this ring is 1 ¾” and the outer

diameter is 2 ¼”. This ring is not adjustable. Why you may ask? It's made out of stainless

steel, which has no give. The ring has a 1/4” thickness.

Travel would not be an issue. I DO NOT recommend walking thru Airport Security with

this cock ring in your pocket. You'll definitely set off the metal detector. We didn't test this

ring out in the water, but there's no reason you couldn't use it in the water.

Couples could benefit from the use of a cock ring; the Strut may not be the cock ring for

you. I would not recommend this ring for a novice user and experienced enthusiasts would

most likely pass the Strut up. For a beginner starting out with a cock ring, I would highly

recommend an adjustable one.

In our opinion, the Strut is a cock ring. What I mean is that you would have to be a magician

to stretch this ring around the shaft of the penis and testicles. There is no possible way that

we could figure out This ring can cause some discomfort or pain to your partner, so please

use caution while using this ring.

This stainless steel cock ring can be used with oil, silicone and water based lubricants. Clean

up is simple.

This ring can be washed in antibacterial soap with warm water, placed in the top rack of the

dishwasher, boiled or placed in a 10% bleach solution. I would let the ring air dry before

returning it to the can. Why? The moisture will ruin the interior of the can.
Experience
In no way am I trying to brag, I have a pretty thick penis. The Strut fit me perfectly while

I was semi-erect and wasn't the least bit uncomfortable while fully erect. My wife, on the

other hand, after about two minutes asked me to stop. The ring was actually hurting her,

her flower actually bruised. The Strut obviously isn't the cock ring for us.

This wasn't our first experience with a cock ring, we have a small collection of rings.

This just wasn't a pleasent experience for my wife.
Follow-up commentary
I can honestly say that I still use my Strut as a paperweight. The Strut is an
interesting conversation piece. I'm sorry that I can't speak about the real
purpose of a cock ring. As a cock ring it did not work to well for us.

    Markie,

If the Strut was discontinued, why were you assigned to review it?
    Great review though.

Thanks for the review. Did you wear this just around your shaft, or around your balls as well? This looks like a cool design.

First off, many products here show up as discontinued when they are new before EdenFantasys has decided whether or not they are going to carry them or not. Not saying that this is necessarily the case here, but it could be the reason you was assigned a "discontinued" item.
Now, it sounds like you wore the ring just around your shaft, correct? That's the only way I could see your partner being bruised by it. These are designed to go behind the testicles normally, but it may be too small for you to do that. Thanks for the review.

    @ leatherlover & Jimbo Jones

No I didn't wear the this ring around my shaft and balls. This ring is entirely way too small for me. As I mentioned in the review I am rather large and thick. Sorry for the dissapointment.

As far as the 'discontinued" item.comment, have a sence of humor, laugh a little. It was meant as a joke.

Jimbo Jones, you are a far more expiereced reviewer @ 128 reviews where I'm still getting a grasp at 16. Second more, this was my opinon of a product, each person has a different opinon.

thanks for sharing. Not sure why you listed the ring as being non adjustable as a con. Sorry it bruised your wife.
  • Contributor: Wildchild
    @ Sloppy Donkey,

To answer your question, the diameter is 1 3/4" this is the min diameter and the max diameter. So therefor this ring is non adjustible and for a well hung man, not a good chioce.

    Good review.
Does the packaging state that the ring is made of stainless? I am wondering why EF has it as metal yet you say it is stainless. If it is stainless the safety rating is a 10. Where as if it is metal (Steel) it would still be porous and then the "9" rating would make sense.

@Dwtim, Metal usally sticks to a magnet. Stainless is the exception to this rule.

    Thanks for the review ^.^

Woah, I would never suggest to put this behind the balls EVER. That is way dangerous since this cannot be cut off. Thanks for the honest review. And yea, sometimes items show up as discontinued on the site before Eden decides to pick them up for good.

I had a similar issue with a metal of ring of a similar design. Buying the Omega [https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-toy-reviews/male-sextoys/a-true-masculine-jewel] with it's circular profile prevents it from bruising both me and my lady - and she rides me pretty hard in the Cowgirl position.
