The Guardian erection ring will work for anybody with a penis. It is good for both beginners and advanced users, but don't expect a cock ring because this is not one. It is an erection prolonging apparatus, the box says ring but rings are full circle! So yes it is similar to a cock ring but is not one. The best use for this item would be for those who want to stay hard longer and don't seem to mind a little pain with it.

It is made out of a hard rubber, and has a smooth texture except for the seam that runs all the way around it, which is very obvious. When my husband first went to put it on we weren't sure if it would break because it was hard to separate the ends enough so he could get in on. Well it didn't break but wasn't the easiest to put on either. There was no smell that I could detect.

While it did do its job, my husband found it very uncomfortable. He says it feels more like a hard plastic than a rubber. Even the texture reminded me of plastic.

It is yellowish in color — I would even say peach — not the prettiest looking thing I have every seen. It is considered a Cock ring; it fits in the stretchy ring style, which once again is not stretchy. The max stretched diameter is 1 3/4" though I can't imagine how you would get it to stretch that far. Un-stretched it is 1 1/2" in diameter.

The Guardian erection ring is far from easy or painless to put on or remove with or without rubber compatible lubricant. Once on my husband said it was the equivalent of having your finger pinched by a crawfish.

Not really what we expected when we got it, still tried it out and lets just say this item did not hit the ball at all. Once on it's uncomfortable and pinches the bottom of the shaft. Not easy to remove either.

Now like all toys you should always wash before use (even before the first use) and after use. Also because this is a porous material it is not safe to share with others. You can clean it with toy cleaners or soap and water but keep in mind that this will not get it completely clean. It is recommended to use condoms with this toy if you plan on using it more than once. This toy was designed to be disposed after use.

The ring came in very minimal packaging, simply a clear, plastic, snap shut case. It comes with instructions printed on the back of the inserted card that also displays what the product is from the front. The instructions are very small though, some may need a magnifying glass to read them!

My husband has chosen to never attempt this again, as much as he enjoys it ruff, he wasn't so keen on the being pinched and using all of his strength to stretch it out far enough to fit!
