Lover ring - penis sleeve by Doc Johnson - review by Casey Eve

My husband and I were thrilled to receive the Lover Ring, a penis sleeve by Doc Johnson. We had been anticipating it and were very anxious to try it out. The feel of the sleeve was nice, as it is a light jelly like material. It was also very stretchy and easy for my husband to stretch over his penis. He isn’t small, nor is he very big, and the sleeve fit him well, a bit snug but not too snug.

 Unlike my husband, I am a bit tight, so we had to put a bit of lube into the mix. When he first inserted his penis with the sleeve on, it was a bit uncomfortable. I’ve never been one for a lot of textures on my toys, so this was something a bit new for me. The discomfort ended after only a few minutes, and I began to enjoy it. What I didn’t know was that the sleeve has slipped up and now only covered the very bottom of my husband’s penis. We tried a few times, and it just kept slipping up, even with little lube. It seemed like the material was just a bit too light to keep it in place.

 On my husband’s end, before the sleeve slipped out of play, he enjoyed it, although briefly. He expressed that it gave him almost a desensitized feeling, which I’m sure would have given him some staying power.

 Due to the fact that no matter what we tried it wouldn’t stay in place, I have to give the Lover Ring one out of five stars. It may work better for someone who has a penis with a larger girth. While the Lover Ring didn’t work out well for us, I recommend that people with larger girthed penises give it a try. It was good for a minute or two.

I am sad to follow up that the Lover Ring did not last very long.  We attempted to use it a few more times in order to give it the benefit of the doubt, but sadly on our 3rd or 4th attempt it broke.  The light plastic did not hold as I had predicted.

It is an inexpensive product so still give it a shot if you are a bit larger around than my husband... other than that however, I cannot recommend it.
