Shaker's Vol.1 is a pretty basic Male Masturbator, although it can be somewhat confusing at first. Basically, you remove the cap on the bottom, and there is your entryway. As you would with most masturbators, get slippery and lubricate the hole and as much of the inside as you can; for some men this will be a very tight squeeze!

From this point on you can push, pull, and twist to your hearts content, the sleeve has a good texture that felt pleasurable, but nothing to give rave reviews about. The sleeve also has a closed end which offers suction, suction, suction so if that's your prerogative this will be a good toy for you.

Unfortunately for me this masturbator actually proved too be too tight and uncomfortable, I had to REALLY put effort into pushing it all the way down on my cock even then it didn't get all the way, and since I'm uncircumcised it pulled all my skin back, not even gently (with lots of lubrication) and was painful enough to turn me off. Although for the sake of reviewing I stuck it out and it makes a lot of noise, it literally sounded like the toy was passing gas, and while hilarious and making my wife and I laugh hysterically, it wasn't the sexy kind of laughing that I would welcome in the bedroom.

The Sleeve of this toy is made of TPE, so it is porous and it is recommended to use only once or for a short term using a condom, especially if you plan on sharing it. It has no real smell other than a generic TPE smell which is hard to describe unless you already know what that smell is. The sleeve is very sticky if you manage to get it out of the package (which I did), I in fact threw it at the wall where it stuck to the wall and stayed stuck to the wall for over an hour (heh that was actually the most fun I had with it).

Inside there are three different features, small nubs that lead up to some small ridges and then more nubs. There are also two little balls on the sides at the points where the plastic case protrudes and one small ball at the very tip of the toy with a flange that almost looks like a mini Saturn. These features provide a pleasant sensation that is not too rough, and not so subtle you can't feel anything.

The outside of the toy is hard plastic case that looks sort of like a elongated mushroom, it has no areas to help you grip other than the ring that is popped out. If your hand is heavily lubricated you may have some trouble keeping a hold on this toy, especially if it takes some effort to push it down your cock.

I really did not like the design of Shakers at all. My first impressions of it were very poor, it looked cheaply made (which it is and rightly so for the price tag) and that already is enough to turn me off. I actually was not aware that this was supposed to be a one-time use toy or of the price tag when I received it so my expectations were higher than they should have been.

This toy has a very tight fit for me personally, too tight. Usually it's the entrance that's the tightest, but a good point of this toy is the entrance is cut in an X shape and very easy to enter, it's the rest of the sleeve that's tight because of the thicker foam lining in the already somewhat small circumference. For other men it may be perfect and just what they wanted, but not my cup o' tea. The bumps and ridges on the inside of the sleeve did feel good, but I sure don't reach for it more than the two times I used it.

I actually tried to finger this toy the first time I opened it up and the whole sleeve pulled out of it because of the suction, and there is a foam lining inside which made it incredibly difficult to get it back in. However upon further investigation the foam lining is removable and you can rewrap the foam around the sleeve and re-insert it with little trouble. This also doubles as giving you the ability to clean the sleeve, although I don't recommend keeping it very long.

It's virtually impossible to consult the instruction booklet for any guidance on this toys use, information, cleaning, or lifetime because it is all in Japanese with no translation provided. This actually really irked me; I know the price isn't very much but is too much to ask to be user friendly to a multitude of people?

Some pluses for the design of this toy are that it's quite discreet, light, doesn't stand out, compact, good for travel, and easily disposable. This would be a good toy for a beginner to help gauge how they feel about male masturbators and extrapolate about what other features they would enjoy in one, and with the price you can't really go wrong if you don't like it.

This toy is extremely simple to use if you've had previous experience with Male Masturbators, although may take a little thinking for a newbie purely because the instruction booklet is in Japanese (I don't even know if they're actually instructions). Although with a little brain effort it shouldn't take long to figure out and profit, remove cap, lube self and toy, insert, push, pull, twist, and enjoy.

I'd say the best feature of this toy is hands down the entry hole. I've had quite a few problems with ripping and tearing the holes open on other toys, but not this one. The X opening design is ingenious and definitely a technique I'd like to see on more masturbators.

The worst side effect of using this toy is the noises. They were a complete turn off to me and I completely lost my hard-on when they became loud farting noises. Unless you like fart porn I'd definitely use due diligence if you want to get to the finish line with Shakers.

It seems the general opinion of this toy is single use, or short term use with a condom. I don't exactly see it like that. That opinion is heavily based on the difficulty of cleaning the sleeve and since it's TPE it has a very porous nature, but I actually found that the sleeve is removable, cleanable and you can reinsert it without much difficulty. However, due to the porous nature I would not recommend keeping it around for long, and personally the work involved in cleaning the toy does not outweigh the small pleasure I get from using it.

A great thing about the TPE sleeve is you can pair it with any lube you like and it's no problem. Definitely pick the most slippery of your favourite lubes and have a go.

For me this toy was a disappointment, I found it looked like an unfinished project and only marginal amount of thought was put into the design. While the inside is textured nicely, the appearance especially of the entry point wasn’t aesthetically pleasing at all, and when it comes to masturbation I want to be looking at something that is going to turn me on. This is a toy I have no desire to try again, I'd personally save my money for something that I feel is worth it.
