The WooHoo Tingles Your Taint and Testes

The Screaming O Woohoo is an unusually designed double vibrating cock ring with bullets designed to vibrate side to side at the top of the cock and front to back across the bottom of the scrotum. The material of the ring is porous and somewhat difficult to keep clean, but the bullets are very nice and can be used in various ways.

Use

The Screaming O Woo Hoo is a stretchy double ring designed to be worn over the cock and balls of a male to enhance sexual pleasure. It can also be worn with just the top ring around the penis and the bottom “ring” and its bullet left dangling. It can be used during masturbation or with a partner.

As with any cock ring, the Woohoo should be used for no longer than 30 minutes at a time with at least an hour break between uses.

If you don't have a penis handy, the Woo Hoo can also be placed around a dildo or traditional vibrator to create a double or triple stimulation vibrator. The bottom bullet, the one designed to press against the scrotum and perineum(taint) is attached in such a way that it is actually very easy to maneuver the bullet into whatever position works best for your anatomy. Something that women who have had a hard time finding a rabbit type vibe to fit them might appreciate.

The bullets can also be used on their own to stimulate the clitoris, nipples, perineum(taint) or any other external body part.

The Woo Hoo is completely waterproof and can be used in the shower or bath. It can also be used in a hot tub or pool, but there is a risk that the chlorine will adversely affect the material of the ring.

Material / Texture

The ring part of the Woo Hoo is made out of TPR Silicone which is a silicone based rubber compound with a material safety index of 6. I could only detect a faint chemical scent when I held it up to my nose. There is, however, a noticeable rubbery taste. The ring is extremely stretchy and has quite a bit of drag to it. You may need to use a bit of lube when putting on or taking off the ring to make things easier. Since this ring is made out of a mixture of silicone and rubber, only water-based lubes should be used with it.

The bullets are apparently made out of hard plastic which is non-porous and has a material safety rating of 8. They each have a rubber, or perhaps silicone, O-ring to make them waterproof. The button on the end is also covered with rubber or silicone. The bullets, like most plastic are both odorless and tasteless. It is generally safe to use any type of lube with plastic, but because of the rubber or silicone O-rings and button covers, it would be safest to use only water-based lube with these bullets.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The Woo Hoo has two vibrating bullets, but unlike most double vibrating bullet cock rings, both bullets do no sit horizontal to the body. The top bullet, the one that is designed to rest above the penis, does sit horizontally, but the bottom bullet, the one that is held against the bottom of the scrotum, rests perpendicular to the body in order to provide vibrations to both the testes and the taint(perineum).

The “ring” that goes around the scrotum is also not the usual shape. It is more like two little ropes that dangle from the cock ring to hold the bottom bullet. This unusual way of creating the “balls” part of a 'cock and balls ring” is what makes this ring so versatile.

When being worn on a penis, the bottom bullet can be simply left to dangle or the ropes can be stretched around the scrotum to form a second ring. When the ring is placed on a dildo or traditional vibrator, these ropes allow the bottom bullet to be moved around much more easily than a more traditional ring would.

Unstretched, the interior diameter of the cock ring is apx 3/4” in diameter. I could easily stretch it around a 2” diameter plastic bottle and it fit almost as easily around a 2.625” soda can. It should fit comfortably around almost any cock.

Trying to measure the interior diameter of the bottom “ring” doesn't really work, but I did manage to stretch it over the 2” diameter plastic bottle fairly easily. However, because the “ropes” comprising the bottom ring are so thin, I was afraid that it would break if I tried stretching it over the soda can. How well this bottom ring will work will probably depend on the size and sensitivity of the wearer's testes.

Both of the sleeves for the bullets have little nubs about the size of pencil tips all over them, and even the cock ring has three little nubs along the bottom. The sleeve for the bottom bullet also has one large nub on the very front and four raised ridges along the back half behind where the “ropes” attach to it.

The bullets are apx 2.25” long including the button and apx 5/8” in diameter.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The two bullets are exactly the same even though the way that they are worn is slightly different. It can be a little tricky getting the bullets in and out of their compartments the first time, but the ring is stretchy enough that with a little practice, it gets easy enough to remove and replace them for cleaning or to use the bullets separately from the ring.

The bullets run on 3 watch batteries, which are included in the bullets when they arrive, and provide about 3 vrooms worth of vibration. I would call the vibrations buzzy rather than rumbly. You can turn them on and off by pressing on the little rubber(?) button on the end of each bullet.

If you only push the button part way down, it turns the vibes on, and then as soon as you release the pressure the vibes turn back off. This might not be useful when using the bullets with the ring. However, when using the bullets on their own, with a little manual dexterity and some practice, you can use this feature to create pulsing vibrations.

The bullets are fairly quiet. With both bullets turned on and the cock ring placed underneath a thick blanket, I could barely hear them. They could not be heard at all through a closed door.

The bullets have thick O rings where the battery compartment twists on, and the on/off buttons are covered by rubber. When held under water, and even when completely submerged, the bullet turned on and off with no problem and vibrated merrily away like a tiny submarine. After taking the bullet out, drying it off and opening it up, I saw absolutely no evidence of water inside the battery compartment.

The battery compartment does not exactly screw on and off in the usual way. You have to push down and twist about one quarter turn. It's not difficult, but it can be a little confusing if you are expecting a regular screw action.

The Woohoo package claims that each bullet should provide 60+ minutes of vibration on one set of batteries. I haven't kept track of how much I've used them while researching this review, so I can't verify that claim.

Care and Maintenance

Because the Woohoo is made of TPR Silicone, it cannot be sterilized and should not be shared with multiple partners. The Woohoo should be cleaned before and after each use with warm water and antibacterial soap and/or antibacterial toy cleaner. All the little nubs and holes provide lots of places for dirt to hide, so you need to be very thorough when cleaning this ring. Because the ring part of the Woohoo contains both silicone and rubber, it should only be used with water based lubes.

The hard plastic that the bullets are made of cannot be completely sterilized, but in addition to regular cleanings with warm water and antibacterial soap and/or toy cleaner, it can be partially sterilized by wiping it down with isopropyl alcohol. Because of the unknown material of the O rings and button covers, it would probably be best to use only water-based lube with these bullets.

Between uses the Woohoo can be stored in its original clamshell packaging or in a plastic baggie to prevent it from getting dirty. As with any battery operated toy, it is highly recommended that the batteries be removed during storage to avoid draining the batteries and possible damage to the toy if the batteries were to leak.

Packaging

The Woohoo comes in a basic clamshell package that displays the cock ring in front of a cardboard insert. The insert is surprisingly tasteful with only some text describing the product – sadly, they do misspell “testes” as “testies” – and a small graphic of the Screaming O logo in the upper left corner. However, because you can clearly see the product through the plastic, it is not at all discreet.

The back of the cardboard insert gives slightly more detailed information on the vibrating ring, and has a very small graphic depicting the proper way to wear the Woohoo. Despite having the normal disclaimer ending in,”This product is sold as a novelty only.”, it does not give any information about the possible hazards of wearing the cock ring for more than 30 minutes at a time. I consider this lack of warning negligent on the part of the manufacturer.

Personal comments

Due to a rather long lasting illness, I have not actually had the chance to try out the Woohoo in the way it is supposed to be used. Normally, I would wait to post a review until I had a chance to thoroughly research a product, but having been assigned this product so long ago, I feel bad for not having posted a review yet. Once I feel better, and am able to research this cock ring properly, I will post my experiences in the follow up.

I chose to give the Woohoo a moderate 3 star rating based on its design, quality of materials, and packaging. The design is unusual and looks like it could be fun. However, the material is not the highest quality and would be difficult to clean and maintain. Also, the fact that they misspelled “testes” on the packaging really bothered me. A sex toy company should know how to spell testes.
