This was going to be a whimsical review, praising the novelty of this pint-sized pleasure sleeve. However, after deciding that a refresher was required to give an unbiased opinion of the product, all the quirks that I originally found comical and enjoyable have became painstaking and tedious when compared to every other male masturbator I've used since. You see: Rimi's Tight Butt was the first masturbator I'd ever used.

The "insert tab A into slot B" concept of male masturbatory aids extends to this product as well, but with a good deal of difficulty. The product name holds true, as it does feel incredibly tight... almost painfully so. It will require a good deal of water-based lube on both you and it for entry. Even still, if you are of average girth or larger, the entrance will still probably tear. Her elasticity is a saving grace, countering her very small size, but don't expect her to cover you fully. The sensation when properly lubed and it is actually quite pleasurable, once you adapt to how tight it is. It DOES, once again as advertised, create a fair amount of suction on the tip of your cock. If you are brand new to the male masturbator game and enjoy almost exclusive tip stimulation and suction, then Rimi's Tight Butt should give you at least one, hair-standing orgasm.

At its bargain basement price of $8-10, I was taken aback by how soft, smooth, and supple it was. The label on the box says that it's made of TPR. Honestly, I couldn't differentiate between its texture and that of the O'Doyles Stout, which I'd purchased the same day. Of course, the only comparison I'd had at the time was feeling top of Fleshlight sleeve. Rimi had a slightly faint balloon odor, and it was coated in some kind of fine powder. I believe that this was just a softness preserving powder, similar to the corn starch that I use on nearly all of my toys after use and cleaning/drying. The interior is somewhat porous. After cleaning and drying it as best I could without tearing it further, it remained wet for sometime. It also made an odd squishing noise every time the slightest bit of pressure was applied to it. I've read that TPR is one of the less safe materials, bacterial wise, but I don't share my toys. I am also as thorough a cleaner as they come. However, the material, along with the fact that it's a close-ended masturbator, does give me some pause.

Rimi's Tight Butt is a compact, single unit with no real frills. I'm a pretty big fan of Anime, so I actually kind of enjoyed the exterior design, with its overly soft and supple curves, unrealistic shaping, and slightly over (or under)pronounced cheeks. I could understand how it would unsettle some, with the notion of having anal intercourse with a 4", headless, limbless sprite. However, with the price, the cute little pink haired hentai girl on the front of the box, and a picture of the masturbator itself on the back, one couldn't be too surprised upon opening the box. The contours of Rimi's Tight Butt WOULD be ideal as a masturbation sleeve, if it weren't so tight, short, soft, smooth, and ridiculously slippery once lube becomes involved. It's a catch 22 in that the small size, both in length and width, requires copious amounts of lubrication in order to be able to merely penetrate it comfortably, but then that makes the exterior slippery. The first time I used it was while having a little 'video conference' with my fiance; when I moved my hand to adjust the cam, it shot off me like a rubber band! Sadly, Rimi is just too snug and short to really feel the contours built into her. It's also a little distracting to see the head of your cock VERY clearly pushing up through the end of the toy as you struggle to hold her down! Truthfully, it does feel a bit like Rimi is trying to escape!

Rimi's overall functionality is adequate, once again taking size and price into account. The tightness felt on the head of the penis is very intense, and the suction that occurs from being properly lubricated alongside its ridged interior design does give a really pleasurable 'milking' sensation. It is a somewhat noisy toy in that respect, but no more than any other onahole design. Once again, there are cautions that you have to take not to tear Rimi's Tight Butt, such as using a great deal of lubricant.

Like all closed-end masturbators, you run the risk of turning your favorite toy into a petri dish of bacteria if you don't take the time to clean and dry it properly. This becomes doubly difficult when you take into consideration how fragile Rimi is. Most closed-end models nowadays (onaholes, meikis, and the like) are more durable, both around the entrance and throughout the interior, so you can simply flip them inside out. Rimi is just too delicate for that; it would likely tear. The nail in the coffin on this model, in regards to safety and ease of clean, is its porous TPR composition. It CAN be cleaned, using warm water and a light, antibacterial soap, and/or a nice toy cleaner. I'd recommend EdenFantasys toy wipes to make it easier and not impede the already slow drying process. After washing and letting it air dry, a light sprinkle of cornstarch along the exterior and (if you're careful) the interior will help keep the toy soft and supple. It will also keep the tearing at a minimum. After that, it's back in the plastic sack that it came in.

The toy is tucked away inside a plain, clear, unsealed plastic bag within a little unprotected cardboard box, with anime renderings of Rimi on the front and top. While completely irrelevant to the overall functionality or even appeal of the toy itself, I couldn't help but notice the English and Japanese advertising on the front, top and back of the box. The reason this stuck out is because if you turn to the product information panel on the side of the box, you'll read, that although the illustration was made in Japan, the toy itself was made in Taiwan! Just thought it was kind of funny.

All in all, I think that California Exotic Novelties made a good move with pushing out this line of small, inexpensive toys. The US is just recently become amenable to the idea of male masturbators in the mainstream, thanks to pioneers like Fleshlight. Japan has a bit of a lead on us in acceptance (and therefore the production and distribution) of male toys. There are tons of Japanese male masturbator imports (Tenga, onahole, Meiki etc.) coming in; even local US soil distributors are setting up shop and selling Japanese products exclusively. The make, texture, and even the advertising theme of this product all seem to me to scream, "onahole!!!" It's a great idea, to make an in-house version of some of the hottest adult toy import. I just wish that they would have put a little more effort into this particular project. Who knows, though? It could have just been a way to test the market!
