There are twenty-six different stories, each written by a different person. It's great because it means that each story has it's own style and feel, but there is one editor, Alison Tyler, who put it together and wrote a charming introduction.

Each story is short and concise, but each tells a different story, most modern, and all loosely based on a fairy tale or children's story. It's not creepy and some of them are really funny. Because they are based on such a novelty they are fun for read aloud situations, as well as bedtime foreplay. Most are quite sexy! It's a funny book with stories about lesbians, monogamous couples, virgins, gay men, dominance, by men and by women, and cheating. These stories are great when read one at a time out of order, or cover to cover. Some are very sensual and classy, and some are dirty or non-mainstream.

This is a small, soft cover book. It has twenty-six stories, each beginning with a different letter and each is based loosely on a traditional fairy tale. The beginning tells what each story is based on as well as who wrote it. They are each short, just 2 to 4 pages and they often read easy, there are a few longer ones, up to 10 pages, for when you're in the mood to get into a story instead of just getting off.

I personally really enjoyed the Earthly Delights, which was one of the few original stories that just fit the trend of classic fairy tales. But I think that each tale could appeal to a different audience.
