Do you communicate with your partner? Engage in Foreplay?

This book didn't rock my world nor did it give me a one hour orgasm. It is better seen as a guide to communication for heterosexual couples.
Published:
Pros

If so, this book is not for you. You most likely will not learn anything that you don't already know within the 166 pages and thirteen chapters. In addition, as a lesbian, a good portion of the book did not apply to me - particularly Chapter 11 "Doing the Venus Butterfly to Him" which included a diagram of the male genital area and tips to add 1 to 3 inches to his penis. Other chapters alluded to a man's biggest challenge, the male impotency myth, the perfect male, for his eyes only. It took some stretch of the imagination to relate it back to my female partner.

Let's try to focus on the positive. If you are not comfortable or relaxed thinking about, talking about, or touching your body, this book could provide a good starting point for you. There are basic questions that could assist you and your partner (male or female) in beginning to dialogue about your bodies, your pleasures, your desires, et cetera. There are sex-ercises that are described and places in the book for you to comment, recount and log how you were feeling and to set goals with your partner. The instruction given in the book was more a description of extended foreplay and learning how to pleasure your partner by listening and communicating.

Did I have a one hour orgasm? No. I’m not saying the one-hour orgasm or the book's described "venus butterfly" technique is a scam. We all experience orgasms in all types of ways - slow, hard, fast, trembling - and all last for different lengths of times when given sustained stimulation. I won't stop trying (and neither should you!), but sadly this book did not get me there. If you have a different experience, I would love to hear about it!

Not everyone is aware of those things. So maybe some people can find use out of this.
