Fingers on Fire

This book is highly recommended for beginners to sensual massage. If you're great with massage, this book might only re-iterate what you already do. Everything you need for a massage is covered; from setting the mood to getting yourself stretched out and ready. Broken down sections make for easy to put down reading (in case you get, distracted).

About author

One of the things that drove me to this book is the authors. They have the same last name, and that's no coincidence. They've been teaching as a couple since 2001. They are both certified sexological bodyworkers and can learn from working with each other and know how to discuss their experiences in an intelligent and educational manner to the rest of us.

Content / Style / Audience

Your most sensual, but most often forgotten about body parts are explored in this delightful book. And no, I'm not talking about the parts discussed in sex education. I'm talking about those that we use everyday to feel, touch, explore and express ourselves with...our hands. Page by page, this book takes the reader through a journey of how to use this sensory part of ourselves to stimulate our partners (and ourselves) to new heights by feeling, touching, exploring and expressing through the magic of our hands.

I am by no means a professional masseuse. I can, however, deliver a good massage if my man needs it. That said, this book is helpful if you're looking for something to bring you out of your tried and true massage techniques into some new and playful territory. As a guide for those new massage, I definitely recommend this book. The writing style is easy to read and helps set the mood for playfulness. With each turn of the page, I was giddy and eager to try what I had just read with my partner.

The one thing I enjoyed most about this book is that each new technique was paired with illustrative images so whether you learn by reading or learn by visualizing, this book is easy to understand.

Worried you won't have what it takes to give a great sensual massage? There is no excuse. This book even provides warm ups and exercises to increase your strength and flexibility. Amazing.
