The Guide to Getting It On! is hands down one of the best books to have in your collection. While it is not your usually position guide, it is instead a great overview of pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about sex and human sexuality. The book is well divided by subject and is very reader friendly. The artistic cover is also great since it doesn't scream sex guide when you look at the spine. The sixth edition is by far the best one so far.

The Guide is great for anyone no matter what stage of your sexuality you are in, I first read it as a teenager and love it now as a college student. The chapters are great and offer tons of advice. One thing I like is that chapter cover many tougher subjects such as sexuality after abuse and what to do when you are disabled. The book is also very good with the message that every body is beautiful and perfectly normal. There are no photographs but instead there is a large amount of great drawings depicting all different types of people. There is a great mixture of comedy, reader input, expert advice, and great information that form an amazing tome.

This book is great for anyone be they a blushing virgin or an experienced libertine, everyone can learn from it. I gave it out last year as a Christmas gifts to my girlfriends to help them get more comfortable with their sexuality.

Some of the subjects covered include biology, anal, fetishes, toys, blow jobs, cyber sex, body image, crazy sex laws, how to talk to kids about sex, porn, intercourse, information about losing your virginity (great chapter that is super helpful), STIs, birth control, masturbation,the list goes on The Guide is a literal smorgasbord of sexual knowledge that everyone should own be you 15 or 115.
