A Pumper's Handbook - book discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by js250

The Pumper's Handbook was written by Al Black for California Exotics. There is an interesting but brief forward by Dr. Joel Kapla. The photographer--who's pictures are the main focus of the book-- is Don Mantooth.
I have heard of Dr. Joel Kaplan, he is a well known author and has a website dedicated to penis pumps and penis enlargement. It is a decent source of information but is based on sales of products as well, but reminds me of a website infomercial.

I could not find any information on Dan Manroot when I performed a search on the internet.

The book has 65 pages, of which 42 of them are all pictures. There are more that have one small paragraph with the pictures, but I decided to count them in with the content.

There are 10 chapters, 1. Foreward, 2. Introduction, 3. Anatomy of the penis, 4. Importance of penis size, 5. Pump selection, 6. The warm-up session, 7. Techniques for a super session, 8. Pumping schedule, 9. Before adn after, 10 Questions and answers.

The target audience is someone who may be interested in a penis pump. Others who may enjoy this book are people who like pumper's porn. The pictures are very graphic, leaving nothing hidden and show a few models in different states of pumping. There are no ejaculation pictures.

I found this book very simplistic, low on information and extremely repetitive.

The cover is a thick, glossy weighted paper, similar to postcard material, and the inner pages are glossy and of a good weight. The photos are high quality and are laid out very well. To fill the pages, the author has repeated some of the tips and advice for pumping safety and comfort.

The booklet is easy to hide but is not discreet in any way. The most informative chapters were the anatomy of a penis and the forward. I did find the simple Q&A chapter was a good summary for the book--reiterating the information in a simple list form.

This book just is too simple for any advanced users. It reminds me of a pamphlet that should be given free with the purchase of a pump--not a booklet you have to pay $10.00 for. What a waste of money unless you are purchasing this for solo satisfaction as part of your porn picture collection.

This book is a cheap, non-useful form of advertising for California Exotics. The information is minimal, repeated over and over to give it a semblance of having content and the pictures are the major focal point. This is a hand book for solo sessions, not a handbook to learn from. Wasted almost ten dollars for a few porn pictures...
