Best Women's Erotica 2008 - book discontinued by Cleis Press Inc. - review by aburnett

Of all the erotica type books, this is my favourite. This particular book is really good, in fact, every book in the series is excellent, but this one still remains my most loved. It keeps you fully engaged. I really can't say one story is better than the other. I have to admit that I haven't read them in chronological order but who cares; each has its own flavour of sexual behaviour far fetched from the previous read story. My husband bought the 2009 one for me because he liked the picture on the cover and it is one of the few he has read all the way through. He calls it his sex manual and he likes living out the stories in the book, which is ok by me, as we have had some sizzling sessions. I also enjoyed Breaking the Girl by Kim Curum and also Elizabeth Chamberlain's Absolute Erotica: The Definitive Collection which is the other book he has read all the way through, and again bought because of the girl on the cover having an orgasm.

However, there was a little bit of a lack of writing skills in the book. I did find a few grammatical errors throughout the book, but when you are reading these stories who is to say you would notice them? I was just taught in school by a very good teacher and now friend of mine that if the story has errors, you must notice them and correct them before moving on. There were very few but what there was it did bug me a bit, simply because an editor didn't catch them.

This book was very vivid in details. So if you are looking for a vivid book, this one is for you. It keeps the mind wondering if the next story is going to be better than the last... I can honestly say that none of the stories were a let down though!
