Happy Hanukkah lip set - lip balm discontinued by Not Soap Radio - review by mama2007

I was very excited when I went to submit this as a free assignment as I absolutely LOVE lip gloss. There are eight different flavors of lip balms included in this set called Happy Hanukkah. It's at a low price of $17.99 and is well worth it depending on if you enjoy the scents I am about to list on here for you.

The first of the lip balms is pink in color once you open it; the flavor is cocoa butter gloss.
What's in it you may ask?? Here are the ingredients:
Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, Prunus Amygdalus dulcis (Sweet almond) Oil, Persea gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Olea europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Beeswax, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E), Mica, Flavor.

I love this scent and its taste as it's a sweet one and rubs on easily. The size of each lip balm container is 1/3 oz. That may seem small but it should last you a good while. They all come in an easy to use and open zip close bag that would be good for travel.

The second is yellowish clear in color and is minty in the scent and the name of it is called Shiny Lips. I enjoy the scent of it as well.
Ingredients:
Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (Almond Oil), Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut Oil), Castor oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado Oil), Mangerifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E), Mica, Flavor.

They have different pictures on the lid of the lip balms which is pretty neat.

The third is brown in color and is grindy in the feel of it; the flavor is brown sugar exfoliating lip scrub. It smells good but I don't like how it feels on my lips, so I'm giving it to my sister as a gift for her birthday.

The fourth is blue in color, smooth to the feel and is breath mint in flavor. The few things in it are: Petrolatum, Mint, Cottonseed oil, Mica, Flavor.

The fifth is night and day lip conditioner which is peach in color and the scent isn't too strong.
Ingredients are:
Cocos Nucifera (coconut) oil and Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Beeswax, Olea europea (Olive) seed oil and Hydrogenated Olive Oil, cannabis sativa (Hemp) seed oil and Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Simmondsia Chinesis (Jojoba) seed oil, Pistacio Vera (Pistaschio) seed oil and Hydrogenated vegetable oil Tocopheryl (Vitamin E), Mica, Flavor.

The sixth is pink in color, has an enjoyable scent to it and is called Sweet Kisses.
Ingredients:
Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, Prunus amygdalus dulcis (Sweet Almond) oil, Persea gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Olea europea (olive) Fruit Oil, beeswax, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E), Mica, Flavor.

The seventh is brown in color and has a weird scent to it and is called Matte lips.
Ingredients:
Amygdalus dulcis oil(Almond Oil), Cocos Nucifera Oil (Coconut Oil), Persea Gratissima (Avocado Oil), Mangerifa Indica (Mango) seed butter, Tocopheryl (Vitamin E), Mica, Flavor.

The eighth and final lip balm is blue in color and has a minty scent to it and is called Vanilla Mint lip balm.
Ingredients:
Petrolatum, Mint, Cottonseed oil, Mica, Flavor.

It's made in the USA and has never, ever tested on animals.

The texture of the lip balms are different with each of the balms as one of them is exfoliating lip scrub so that one is grainy to the touch which I don't like with lip glosses, and some are smooth and shiny. It's easy to open the tops of the lip balms.

The taste and aroma of each of the lip balms are different, as some of them are that of a minty scent and one is sweet and another is brown sugar. I liked some of the scents and disliked some too. The reason I chose smells good and bad smell is because some I liked and others I didn't like.

The products last a few hours or at least they did on me when I tried a few of them on. I didn't have to wash them off, I just kept it on. I love how small the containers for the lip balms are; very convenient for travel and just to tuck away in your purse as well.

The packaging was simple as it just had the bag the lip balm set came in. The bag it has with the lip balms would be great for multiple uses and for travel as well.

There are no special features to this gift set.

I loved the majority of these lip balms and the ones I didn't like as well I am giving to my sister since I know she'll enjoy them!

I love lip balms and glosses and would highly recommend this set to anyone who loves a variety in flavors and scents.
