My partner had purchased the Intimacy Love Kit by Booty Parlor for us a few months back. He thought it would be nice to have to bring with us if we ever stayed out for the evening. I wouldn’t have purchased this kit for us if it were my money, simply because we already have every type of item included in the kit. However, my partner is an impulse shopper. If he wants it at the time, he buys it.



The kit is sealed in plastic when it arrived. The packaging is lovely. I’ve always been impressed with the company’s packaging to their products. The kit is in a black rectangular box with shiny pink swirled designs on it. At the centre top of the box, there is a raised piece of cardboard that states the name of the product and the company name. The back (or bottom) of the packaging states the contents of the kit, ingredients, company contact information, and company website. The box is excellent to use to store the items in when they are not being used. The gorgeous packaging also makes it perfect for gift giving.



The box opens at the side with a little pink ribbon. This side of the box has a magnet in it to hold the box closed. Inside, the items sit in designated areas. On the left hand side, there is a thin bottle of Don’t Stop Massage Oil and a thin bottle of Add Magic Lubricant. On the right hand side, there is a package holding the vibrating couples ring and 2 condoms. I was rather disappointed when I first opened the kit because I found out that the massage oil actually leaked onto everything.



The Add Magic Lubricant is in a thin clear plastic bottle. The front of the bottle has the company name and product name written on it. The back of the bottle states the company website and size of product. The product is 10ml (.33 fl oz). The bottle is pump style and has a plastic lid. The ingredients (as listed on the back of the packaging) to the lubricant are as follows: water, propylene glycol, glycerin, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl guar, potassium sorbate, peg-45 m, sodium benzoate, citric acid, and sodium hydroxide. Since the lubricant is water-based, it’s safe to use with toys. Please note in the ingredients that there is glycerin, which may be an ingredient you’d avoid using internally if you are prone to yeast infections.

The lubricant is clear in colour. The lube is slick and slippery. The lubricant is a bit runny because it’s not extremely thick, but it’s not as thin as water either. The lube is not sticky or tacky when applied. It is also not sticky or tacky after it’s been rubbed into the skin. The lubricant does last awhile, but for longer sessions reapplication is needed. The lube does not leave any weird residues on the skin after play. Actually, the lubricant absorbs into the skin nicely. The lubricant can be washed off with soap and water if needed but after we had used the lubricant, it had absorbed into our skin so well that no cleaning was necessary. There is no taste or scent to the lubricant.

The Don’t Stop Massage Oil is in the same type of bottle with the same text as the lubricant. The product is 10ml (.33 fl oz). The ingredients to the oil as stated on the box are as follows: propylene glycol, glycerin, and fragrance. It states that it also may contain: blue 1 and red 33.

The oil is clear in colour and is very, very runny. It has a fairly strong scent though I cannot place my finger on the specific scent. If I were to describe it the best I could, I’d probably say it smells like a sweet chamomile tea. I actually really like the scent. The scent lingers on the skin but fades with time. If the skin where the oil was applied is washed with soap and water, the scent leaves the skin. The one problem with the massage oil is that it absorbs into the skin far too quickly. I prefer a massage oil to be long lasting so that reapplication is not needed. With this oil, you have to keep reapplying every few minutes, which is a big pain in the bum. It does leave your skin feeling VERY soft and smooth though. The oil does not leave any residue or sticky feeling to the skin.

The cock ring comes in a red package. The front of the packaging states the brand name and product name. The back of the packaging states the directions for use, warnings, and company contact information.

The packaging states that the cock ring is to be used overtop of the condom so I presume that the ring is not to be used behind the testicles. The cock ring is a one-time use ring that is supposed to last for 17-25 minutes. The ring is a clear pink colour with a white bullet at the top of the ring. The packaging to the ring does not say what material though it is extremely stretchy. There was no scent to the ring when I had opened the package.

Since I was unsure of what the material of the cock ring was, I decidednot to use it. I had a bad experience with a jelly cock ring once and since then, I’ve sworn to never have that material touch my crotch again. Although I didn’t use the cock ring, my partner was still able to get use out of it. The cock ring can be used as a couple’s toy, or alone. To use it alone, a person may wish to put it on their dildo for added clitoral stimulation (there are nubs at the top of the ring), or a person can place it around the base of their penis while they masturbate with their hand or with a toy.

There is only one vibration speed to the cock ring. It provides a moderate level of vibration. If you prefer stronger vibrations, this will only tease- not please. The vibrations can be felt through the material of the cock ring. The noise level is actually quite quiet. You cannot hear the cock ring if it’s being used beneath the covers.

When my partner wore the cock ring, he said that it was snug but wasn’t uncomfortable. The cock ring is very light in weight. The bullet to the cock ring is approximately 1 ½ inches in length. Sadly, the batteries in the bullet cannot be replaced so once it dies, it’s dead forever. To turn the cock ring on, you press the side of the bullet. To turn the vibrations off, you press the side of bullet once more. I suppose you could get a few uses out of the ring if you had very short sessions with it.

My partner had used the ring for about 20 minutes but it was still going strong. I decided to let the ring vibrate until it dies that way I could see how long of a life it held. I placed the vibrating ring on my big toe and let it vibe away. 20 minutes after putting it on my big toe, the vibrations started to dull down because the batteries started to die. 10 minutes later, the vibrations died completely. I was really surprised by this because for 40 minutes the vibrations were at peak strength when the packaging states it will only last 17-25 minutes. That is a definite plus! The ring can be cleaned with a toy wipe, toy spray, and a damp washcloth and soap. The material attracts lint/pet hair etc. When I had the ring on my toe, my cat rubbed against my foot and as you can see in the photo below, her hair is all over it.

I still think this kit was over priced. It's cute but not $25 worth of cute. Unless you're purchasing it as a gift, I wouldn't recommend it. Even then, use a coupon code or wait until it's on sale.
