Since it is a shower cap, it is best used in shower or bath tub. It can be used if you are swimming as well, but not for putting your head under water. This product works well for anyone who wants to protect their hair from water.

The satin material that this product is made out of dries quite quickly if you hang it up after use. I was curious as to how to care and maintain the shower cap, but there were no instructions for such a thing inside the shower cap. I basically treated it like I would when it came to cleaning satin products. I washed it in cold water with a mild detergent and let it air dry. It worked like a charm! Just remember to never wring out satin, because it could damage the material.

When it comes to the texture and feel of this shower cap, it is extremely smooth. It is made from some kind of satin and is quite silky to the touch. At first, I was concerned about using it in the shower because I was not sure how the satin would react when it came in contact with so much water. The shower cap was fine and dried out quite quickly after letting it hang up on a wall-hook that I have in my bathroom.

Well, considering the fact that this is a shower cap, I would not recommend putting it in your mouth. However, the cap does not have any smell to it which can be a problem for anything with plastic and this does have a plastic liner inside.

Performance wise, this shower cap excels. I have a rather large head and very thick hair; it managed to cover and protect my hair in the shower easily. It even dries quickly after a shower. Simply hang it up somewhere and let it air dry. Once it was dry, I just placed it in its original packaging and carried on with my day.

"La vita è bella" is printed in black letters on the front of the shower cap. For those of us who do not speak Italian, the phrase translates to "Life is beautiful". I thought that was a cute little phrase to add on the shower cap. It also looks quite nice with its bold black letters.












It also comes in a lovely little pink box with a black bow wrapped around it. I still use it to store the cap in it. Keep in mind, I bought this thing two years ago and it still is in pristine condition today. Even the storage box it came in is in tip-top condition. I am quite impressed with the quality of this product and how great the packaging is for it. In fact, the packaging itself is so nice that it would make a wonderful gift. It doesn't even need to be wrapped; the packaging itself looks like a wrapped present.

This product gave me peace of mind knowing that I wouldn't screw up my hair while taking a shower. It truly is a superior shower cap.

Unfortunately, this lovely shower cap has been discontinued by EdenFantasys. I received this product from EdenFantasys two years ago. To this very day, the shower cap is in excellent condition, as well as the packaging. If you can somehow get your hands on this shower cap, I would definitely recommend that you do so. This thing is worth every damn penny and you will definitely not regret having one. Hopefully, this product will be available again one day, so that others can appreciate this high quality shower cap.

The Doccia Me Satin Shower Cap was very pleasant to use in the shower. I was so afraid that the water would sink straight through it and drench my hair, but that never happened. Since the shower cap has an inner lining that is made from a thick plastic material, it protected my hair from the water. That extra layer of protection, due to the inner lining of the shower cap, gave me absolute peace of mind. I am always happy to use this shower cap because it actually looks adorable on my massive cranium!
